Scosglen Wanderer bugged for me, therefore can not complete Estuar Wanderer!
I’ve found all waypoints, done all Stronghold events, found every Altar of Lilith, 70/70 Areas found, have even done a Nightmare dungeon or two in the area.
I have 1500 Renown in Scosglen so why does it show that I have not even started the region in my Challenges!!
Please please HELP!
I haven’t done every sidequest, nor every dungeon, but I haven’t in the other regions either, yet they show the Wanderer challenge completed!!

I’ll bump as well. Just finished off the world map, but my Dry Steppes Wanderer is marked as not started, despite being finished.

A work around i found. Start a HC character in storymode. Make sure youre fully solo. Explore all the nooks and crannies

Do I also need to beat the strongholds to count as explored?!

I started an HC character, and indeed they don’t have the map explored, but when I discovered some Dry Steppes areas the challenge is still marked not started, so I’m skeptical it’s gonna work.
Unless you mean specifically start without skipping the campaign?
EDIT: Tried it with a fresh HC character in campaign mode, played up to Ked Bardu, still the Dry Steppes challenge is marked “not started”.

It worked for me
I created a HC char,with skip campaign.
Then I rode around all of Kehijstan and Hawezar wich were ‘not started’ in my case, and eventually the trophy popped!
I didn’t do the Strongholds btw - just rode close to them so the map unfogged.
