Yeah, all locations found and all strongholds found for Scosglen. Just hate not seeing any ! on the map, and being forced to have to go down the quests list and check that way now.
Yeah this system really sucks lol Best of luck to you!
The Warded Sailors Vessel - thereās a nice pile of 4-5 corpses lying next to each other southwest of Forthratch Castle. West side of what looks like a circle with a darker circle in the middle on the map. Got my drop from one of those. Good to check when farming for this.
Curious if you guys getting Scosglen done have the bug where Mithering Descent is still showing as blue for you?
Iām at 46/47 atm and am thinking itās because this dungeon is bugged. When I go through it again the mob at the end is immune to all damage so itās not killable (thereās a bug thread on this being reported by lots of other people - Bug dungeon Mithering Descent (threads of envy quest) - #34 by Jasmine-1534)
I had the same bug (and still do), it did not effect my quest completion.
I had thought for a long time that it did, but I was wrong.
ok, ty - Ill keep looking
If it helps, the quest I was missing was the Ravenous Predatorās offerings. Iām not lying when I said it took me about 40 corpses to find.
yep yep, I just finished that oneā¦ was 46. Also took me a while to find that one
Holy cow, it ended up being the Warded Sailors Vessel as my last quest for this area. I must have killed drowned and looted bodies along the shore for at least an hour then I gave upā¦ went and watched each quest on youtube and kept coming back to this one being the only one that didnāt seem familiar. Another 20+ minutes later and finally a corpse dropped the damn thing.
Very good tutorial, I just finished Scosglen and Iām going to continue with the rest ! Thank you !
Now imagine having some revolutionary and futuristic QoL feature like a āQuest Logā to see which ones you already did
The game NEEDS a proper quest tracker. Show which quests in which zones have been completed, and which are still available.
They really need to flay whoever thought it was a good idea to :
- Have no ācompleted questā section in the quest log to track what youāve already done.
- Have unmarked side quests that drop off random mobs / corpses / objects in the world.
- Require said unmarked quest for 100% completion of regions.
- Put a 20 quest limit in quest log so you can actually stumble upon a super rare quest item from a random corpse then be unable start quest, leading to you thinking you did it later down the road cause you remember the quest start and you assume you did it.
- Make all these quests pointless , uninteresting and forgettable so that itās nearly impossible to even remember if you did them or notā¦
- Finally, make sure that the quest completion status is not tracked account-wide, meaning you probably remember doing it, but you actually did it on your lvl 5 rogue and not your main who has been running in circles killing goatmen for five hours because heās convinced itās the quest heās missing.
Have said quest offer next to no xp and terrible rewards to make them even more pointless.
Honestly, just delete all those bad quests or give them a proper exclamation mark / visible starter. Itās not ādeepā or āmysteriousā, itās just lame , confusing and unrewarding. Also FFS just display the exclamation marks all over the map instead of when you are near themā¦ And remove the stupid cap on side missions in your quest log so we donāt forget about quests we were unable to start as we traveled.
they fr put a 20 quest limit while having over 150 quest. these devs are embarassing
For Wrong Hands, I kept checking that chest you have marked. Instead I found Wrong Hands in a chest clear across the Shrouded Moors, below the Overgrown Outpost cellar, kind of to the east of the Lilith statue that isnāt in the red area. Just wanted to pass that along, since your posts have been incredibly helpful!!
Many thanks for the Sidequest Guide. I have completed every single quest today .
Literally sitting on 1 quest left, absolutely doing my head in. The worst design of quests ever. At least with WOW you can hit up a GM. Diablo is still so prehistoric.
Im also confused as i was working on āA different beastā as i finished āThe wrong handsā yet the quest item for āA broken bearā dropped. So now i have no idea if im still turning bodies for āA different beastā as you state that they needed to be done in an order but i couldnt control that .
My inner completionist is literally dying.
I found the Item āBroken Carvingā in a Chest in Scosglen - Highland Wilds. You can see 2 acre fields on the map east of Cerrigar waypoint. Directly north of those fields. It added to my Scosglen Renown.
Got my Warded Sailorās Vessel from a corpse on the coastline just East of the bridge that leads to the Hopeās Light Stronghold. The area is defined as āCursed Scarpsā, seems the drop area extends to general coastline of Northshore whether itās the Abandoned Coast proper or the North-eastern coast. Probably why the corpses in Fothracth Castle drop it as well, the game might consider that part of the ācoastā
Thank you, these posts of yours have been super helpful. Iām a completist, and some of these would have been a real pain without these posts of the hidden quests. Sidenote, I found the #2 A Different Beast on a corpse on a corpse just west of Artair (not sure if those are randomly generated or not). This is the 3rd region Iāve used your posts to help complete out the side quests.
