The drop rate is too low to sanctify items. I cannot socket a single item before sanctifying because most of the activities hardly yield enough scattered prisms required by the jeweler to socket items.
Not even activities listed under the resource itself.

Not gonna lie I came here to check around for tips and hints on collecting Scattered Prisms. Right now I have a stash full of things saved up to try to sanctify but I can’t go play with the silly seasonal mechanic because I have exactly 0 prisms left. The last 2 world bosses I’ve killed have dropped 0. Did about 10 runs of undercity and got exactly 1. Checking my mercenary shop, I’ve bought a handful of the containers that have them and only gotten a couple out of them.
Scattered prisms sincerely either need to be made much less rare or craftable from other materials. They’re a core crafting resource, afterall, and should be available to collect from more than, what, 4 things? I’d love to get back to playing with sanctification but here I am, out of prisms.
Tl;dr - Devs, please increase the drop rate and activities that scattered prisms drop from. If we’re gonna have a crafting seasonal mechanic, we need to be able to, ya know, craft appropriately. This goes for obducite as well, at least for this season. Let us more easily get the materials we need for crafting if we’re supposed to be crafting as the main thing for the season.
