Right now, most of my gear is unsocketed because I am unable to find scattered prisms, no matter where I look. Does anyone have any tips on where best to find them? I’ve done world bosses, elites, nm dungeons, pit, etc and haven’t gotten any.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Should have gotten some from those, but if no luck, then strongroom chest might give some, and the materials affix for NMD should give some i think. Perhaps whispers cache also
Also i forget but they may not drop until torment, if you are no there yet.

Edit- If you Hover over the material in the jeweler we now get a menu that tells us where to get the resource primarily form
So World boss , Undercity, Dark Citadel, Infernal Hordes and Bartering. And you only need them for ancestral gear atm. Rare drop i think now so you might not get one guaranteed, i certainly have less than previous seasons atm.
I believe treasure goblins also may drop them sometimes.

Idk what torment you are in but in t4 you get lots of them just doing nightmare dungeons
This becomes a non-issue later shortly after hutting 60. Dont forget the den has boxes with them in it.
T1 and up I haven’t had any issues getting those. Majority of mine have come from World Bosses and Infernal Hordes chests I want to say. Also the occasional goblin.

They drop before torment. I socketed my runes long before I got to torment 1.
@OP they drop in regular dungeons which have the whisper 5 pts red marker, the Whisper caches themselves, and at Blood Maiden…because that is 97% of what I did before torment 1.
correct, you no longer need prism for sub ancestral gear though ,which you don’t have until torment, as far as i can tell.

Oh really I did not look at the requirements, just knew I was putting holes in everything.
