Save The Endgame Suggestions

Sooo, the endgame (that someone proclaimed after lv 50, bad idea) consists of:
*Helltides every 2 hours.
*Nightmare dungeons with bad objectives.

  • Whispers bounties ( the only fine thing there)

It se clearly seen that this is poorly executed and gets boring.
My suggestions are:

  1. Make these endgame things available after lv. 70. Balance the xp troughout the zones and quests in order that we finish the most until 70. Then give us your endgame.
  2. Make Helltides a part of daily quests with less waiting time. (It’s not something woow anyway).
  3. Nightmare dungeons to have simpler ovjectives, like just kill the boss or two. So they could be done in 10 min. Teleport, kill the boss, repeat. But give us the questline for that. The story behind it like collecting fragments for the ultimate evil from other universe, or something.
  4. Tower of chaos. Mini challenges of endless levels moving up or down. This could be a ladder for seasons.

Evrything is fine until you reach endgame. There goes the boring and unprogressive feeling.

I know that these kind of games are made for reply and farming. But there mist be more content for the repeat farming. The hope of good RNG.

In the state like this, you can freelly move it from the internet and make it offline.

Why is it bad? it takes you on a journey for 50 levels to hit max, thats pretty good if you aske me, forget traditional numbers meaning, get rid of grinding to max level before playing endgame.

Hell tides are great my only issue is lack of rewards and difficulty is too easy and lack of events that occur during, where are the hell portals.

Also my PB clear is 17mins, and i could build for faster, so maybe try that out have a pair of speed boots for running with the stones or whatever if it messes your build too much.

yeaa cant imagine anyone whod like that in a diablo game.

if you want to design your own game, go ahead. many indie games can be quite nice.

said this before…

let us replay the story again in all world tiers (and the option to reset it)
give the story bosses and objectives dedicated drops (either class specific for each character or just items you can use on all characters)

people keep saying D2’s endgame is doing endless bossruns… well, guess what game is still being played after all these years.
this time they can make it OPTIONAL instead of just leaving it out completely

at least it’s better then the crap we have to do now

No. I paid for this game in order to have a playable gaming. From the beggining until now, only last month is stable and playable. I do enjoy playing this game, but in a short run. If you want more players in game and less on forums you have to make it alive.

There is a visible gap between lv. 50- lv 70. So that’s what I am talking about.

Narrow sighted overthinking who will get nerfed or boosted. If that thing is not wow, then what is it(MMO).
Look at the tier lists. S tiers are full of builds from two classes.

In general, Endgame and game should not be separate things.
The endgame content should just trickle into the game as you lvl up.

Should go in the very opposite direction tbh.
More stuff to do in each NM dungeon. Make it optional, but rewarding. More to explore, secrets to find, side objectives and quests to complete.

A big reason why these activities feel so repetitive, is exactly because they are so fast to do, and so similar each time. That is what should change imo.

Yes, so much this. Heck, not only in all world tiers.
Have Campaign sigils drop, where you can do a Tier 150 Campaign playthrough with some random modifiers.

The game is beyond saving at its core.

  1. Groups and Chat. There should be an easy way to find/add random people for co-op everything
  2. World Bosses. More bosses, more difficulty, better scheduling, and make it have ranks so you need groups of people with a certain Attack Power average. Make the rewards worth it too
  3. Make glyph exp available in everything else - not just NMDs
  4. Auto loot and loot filters
  5. PvP. More options and better rewards. Not for everyone, but I at least like PvP in the end game

  • Hell Tides should always be active and move around the region.
  • You can exchange Cinders for World Boss Tokens.
  • These Tokens can be purchased for LVL 75, LVL 90, and LVL 125 World Boss in WT4.
  • World Boss Event occurs every 20 Minutes in Hell Tides.
  • You can only have 1 Successful Entry per Hell Tide.
  • Hell Tides have more Events in them that scale at a higher level than most field enemies.
  • Tree of Whispers always occurs in Hell Tides now.
  • Glyph XP is now given upon killing a World Boss and Tree of Whispers Cache.
  • Hell Tide Legion Events pop-up in Strongholds and are scaled up appropriately.
  • Nightmare Dungeons now have more Nemesis Enemies that can spawn.
  • Nightmare Dungeons have Ambushes that are more frequent.
  • Most Affixes that are always Salvaged are removed. This includes the Lightning Cloud.
  • NMD redesigned so you will never need to back-track.
  • Bosses are more challenging and with more variety. Enemies always spawn with Bosses now continuously.
  • Rogue-Like Tower added that lets you descend into Hell for added challenge. Every 3rd Floor has a Boss encounter. You can choose to take your reward chest or keep going for more chests. Glyph XP is given after completing each 3rd floor. (Similar to Grim Dawn Shards).
  • Memory Challenge Spire added to ascend floors 1-50. This offers rewards for completing each floor. There are different objectives and challenges on each floor. Some may be to stay alive, or kill waves of enemies, or bosses, or fight along side Champions. This will recreate the Campaign and be unlocked after completing the Campaign. You will be able to fight Bosses from the Campaign and perhaps even older Memories from previous titles.
  • The 1st clear with a player character will help provide you Aspects, Upgrade Materials, Gear, Elixirs etc.
  • Subsequent playthroughs at higher difficulties earns you Gold and Glyph XP.
  • All Aspects added to Codex system.
  • You can now Upgrade Aspects in your Codex through all means of end-game content by salvaging aspects or acquiring dust.
  • You can now Craft a Random Aspect in each specific Aspect category. This means you can choose Resource Aspects for your Rings to Craft, but the specific Aspect and Aspect Values are RNG.
  • Aspects now apply to Item Slot and do not change the Item Rarity.
  • Itemization is fixed so only Ancestral Items drop in WT4. WT3 and WT2 Item Levels are capped so you can acquire gear for Alts easier.
  • Unique Items always have Max Affix rolls.
  • Aspect
  • New Rarities Added. Mythical and Relic.
  • Rarity will dictate the range the Affix values can roll. The higher the Rarity, the higher the mininum Affix values. This allows Rare items to still potentially be BiS or better than Mythical or Relic. Relic will have the highest chance to roll high Affixes across the board.
