Save the Fractured Peaks from the Red-Cloaked Horror’s frigid grasp from December 12–January 2 in Diablo IV’s first limited-time holiday event.
World Tier I or above can sink their sword into frostbitten demons by heading over to the Midwinter Square in Kyovashad and speaking with Gileon, the bard.
Thanks for making it available in ALL World Tiers.
I was worried I’d have to level my Alts to get the cosmetics.
Lololo… thanks Blizzy!
I look forward to slaying with Santa and smoking with Snoop.
What next Darkmoon Faire?
Hate to break it to ya but Snoop gave up the flower.
i had to google it, holy crap i cant believe he is doing it lol
Giving up the flower was an ad hoax
Yeah but vaping aint same its a yuppy thing.
I don’t care about the AoZ this looks more interesting.
I am not a fan of cosmetic awards for quests, so this is a huge miss for me. The items I can get hold no value outside of the event, and as we are getting closer to the season end, I will not be trying this. If the rewards were something like, finally getting a Shako “cause I will know people who get it…lies” maybe I would try this as I could get awards I want.
If you like the awards then happy hunting to you, but for me personally, Its a miss, and I wanted to give the team my feedback.
LESSCOSMETICSMORECONTENT
that is untrue. it was a marketing stunt for a product endorsement.
And I keep puzzling over what kind of “Snoop” they want to smoke, having first killed it with “Santa”. People, be clearer.
Hello, Blizzard.
Here is my feedback on Midwinter Blight.
Too much time commitment for low reward. I blasted HARD for an hour and a half and only got 20 of the currency. That means it would take approximately 35 hours to complete everything, which feels quite excessive for a holiday event when I could be doing other things with my time. Leveling glyphs, farming for BIS Uniques, doing Abbatoir of Zir, etc.
Also, it is incredibly boring and the colors are dull. If the guy has a red cloak then it should be bright red and pop, but everything is dull and boring. Its just a regular zone now shaded purple with different monsters and a massive time sink with big FOMO for things that don’t seem worth it when the opportunity cost of doing the Blight is losing out on other things, as mentioned above. Please adjust.
Adjustments may be needed.
Yeah, this thing has 20+ days left. It’s not meant as a fun afternoon adventure.
Swing and a miss considering more than half of the cosmetics that are “from” this event are buried in the shop for over $100 plus. Would have been nice if those cosmetics were obtainable in game instead of y’all putting your corporate greed center stage.
