I wouldn’t pay a dollar for Shadow of the erdtree, I didn’t like Elden Ring, so it has zero value to me.
If you don’t want to buy something, just don’t buy it. Why is this such a hard concept for some people to grasp.

53.99 here in canada. 60 after taxes. Problem is that this game was bad for a year. And they expect us to pay that much for it. Blizz needs to get off their high horse for sure.

Best way is to just not buy it then.
Simple.
Wait for a sale, easy fix. Guarantee by December, if not January there will be at least a 15% sale. You’ll miss out on maybe a couple of free cosmetics in the game due to missing 1 season and the free stuff in the battle pass.

Game is in a great place just in time for the expansion.
If you’ve been clinging to a $60 investment in a game that you’ve hated for 12 months then it sounds like the problem is you.
I wouldn’t say hated, more like disappointed. Doesn’t feel like a diablo game. It certainly feels like an ARPG. Just something about it doesn’t strike diablo if that makes sense. Really not impressed with the skill trees. I’m mainly a minion necro and its only now they’re pretty good. I imagine they’ll be nerfed next season. It just feels like disappointment after disappointment and i love the diablo franchise. I’m actually very worried about the direction of this franchise. What if D5 is a full on MMO. What if there’s 0 trading in future games. Things like that you know?

ER was the worst Souls game, so they could give it away for free and I still wouldn’t have cared about it.
When will you people who think these prices are so outrageous stop purchasing them? Is someone holding a gun to your head?
I’m pretty sure it will on sale around the christmas holidays. So if $40 dollars is too much for them (laugh) then they will get it cheaper a few months later.

D4 is easily the worst diablo game. Not counting immortal. That shouldn’t even exist.
