How about providing a means to salvage elixirs. I could than get a few that might be useful.
Or allow us to combine lesser elixirs to create a better one. For example, 3-5 weak elixirs to get a strong elixir of the same type. That way, I would have a use for all those weak elixirs that are dropping from chest when I am a level 90.
Y’all, that’s some solid thinking right there!
Very good ideas indeed!
It’s a bad idea. Once you use herbs to cook an elixir, you can’t get the same intact herbs out because they have been boiled into the potion. getting fresh herbs out of an elixir would be super unrealistic. It’s like salvaging raw meat from a cooked steak.
Dude, you need a coffee.
Never heard of magic?
It’s a great idea, potion is potion and I’m sure it can be improved upon.
If you want realistic medicine, then you’ll need to tell me where your horse goes when you dismount.
Crafting? In Diablo 4? Now you are asking way too much!
But you could distill 4-5 weak potions down to get a stronger one. Just a concentrated version of the original.
I like the idea to create more potent potions. Would also like the ability to create new potions through trial and error.
Well then, I will just go and buy a bunch of half-carat diamonds and combine them to a 15 carat diamond. Free money! Huzzah!!!
Isn’t that how gems are made in D4 right now lololol
You mean like salvaging gems into dust and making bigger solid gems?
It is a video game with big flying bugs, horned beasts and demons….the entire game isnt “realistic”
It is called fantasy for a reason.
I just had 2 coffees, thanks. I’m entitled to my opinion and I believe salvaging solid herbs from a liquid potion is a bad idea. No amounts of your conceptualization of “magical magics” or purple unicorns are going to make me think that would be a good idea.
Never said you werent entitled to your opinion, only that you attempting to reason reality into a fantasy game is ill-placed.
There’s a difference between lore-friendly fantasy universe and something that is absurdly impossible. Like orcs and goblins, as opposed to alien ufos riding dolphins with lasers built into their eyes.
Oh i get you, and i agree.
I just think that it eould be nice to take a bunch of weak elixers and mix them together to make a stronger one.
That is something I would not be opposed to, and makes a lot of sense.
Unlike D3, you can trade in D4.
This. Too many elixirs I don’t use that I wish I could make useful some other way. I don’t need a demon slaying elixir when I’d rather use an assault one or iron skin one.
Not sure why you’re being so damned serious, you almost dragged me down with your grumpy no fun attitude.
Hard to believe you bought a fantasy rpg and came in here arguing chemistry facts.
I bet you’re fun at parties.
Going to play D4 and leave you to your lawn, enjoy.
Make elixirs similar to health potions where you can improve your character’s ability to fully realize an elixir’s potency. Then we can just carry one tier of any type of elixir. This would cut down on inventory space and management.
