Sad state of trading: encountered a RMT on Diablo.trade, buyers beware

I’ve sold some ancestrals and a good unique on diablo.trade and now I’m sitting at around 17B gold. I was looking for better gear for my character and offered a bid on an item. I was greeted by a RMT. I reported him on the site but I don’t think any real action will be taken.

Just in case anyone wants to see how such an interaction goes:

To Blizz: please give us an ingame trading market so you can start putting an end to these RMT people, scammers and dupers!

Something like POE’s auction site would be awesome.

Yep, I want an in game trading market. Or if it’s gonna be external, blizz needs to put in writing or major announcement that dtrade is now the official trading platform.

We shouldn’t have to minimize the game and use a web browser to trade. They can just implement an AH like WoW has. Literally copy and paste the code. Done.

It’s amazing this game dose not have an in-game solution in 2024. Having us rely on a 3rd party site is sad.

Worse yet, it is not even on their radar! How!? How much duplication, RMT and other nonsense do players have to post about before Blizzard realizes this HAS to be on their radar.

Even Diablo Immortal has an auction house.

I suspect some staff have a hand in the RMT cookie jar to supplement their income and the company looks the other way as opposed to giving raises.

This is why I don’t use diablo trade. If you even mention diablo trade and dupes on forums your post gets shut down or your comments get removed and flagged. The staff of diablo trade are the ones selling these duped items for rmt and that’s why nothing is done. Sanctuary server #'s have dropped from 1Mil on launch to nearly 500k on season 6. I have had nothing but bad experiences with the staff.

Everyone knows where to trade for diablo. It is not diablo trade.

Implement an auction house or disable trade is my vote.
