In the first couple of seasons The Butcher was a mean bastard. In hardcore forums were severable threads were people shared their encounters. The encounters meant something, they were memorable.
Currently the Butcher is a pushover. His healthpool is too low and the damage has gone.
The request is simple: restore him to former glory.
What should be the aim?
His skillset is perfect. He had high continuous damage output cause of his crazy attackspeed. Because of this he was hard to tank. Even as a druid I needed my potions most of the time. So people tried kiting him. Tanking / kiting, whatever works, great!
If it doesn’t work, then people can always run away. He sometimes wanders off for a couple seconds, giving people an escape, before he charges back 
Last, consider giving him boss loot. I think it would be great to have a scary Boss pop out of nowhere and to be tempted by the good loot that he might be carrying.
S8 looks decent, but this would add a lot of excitement for me personally.
The Butcher has always been the only thing that was 100% perfect from the launch. He doesn’t deserve the situation he is in now.
