But the devs said they’re going to nerf the “OP” classes in the first two weeks. So the Tier Lists are pointless until everything is nerfed or not.
Also, it’s real funny that the Devs say, “We’re making the game harder because the players want challenge” but the streamers and player are still looking for easy mode.
Makes you wonder about that whole “the players want a harder game” thing, doesn’t it?
I went and made popcorn for reading this post and comments. 
It doesn’t matter what the list says, I’m dead set on playing a Spiritborn, and it’s almost certainly going to be some kind of Quill Volley variant, and I won’t let it stop me from climbing as high as I can in the pits and have a blast while doing it. You’ll have pry my character, Quillborn, from my cold, dead hands.

The builds say S7 on them. These are just potential lists as in the potential is there as of right now. They won’t flesh out new builds until the path notes and even then they won’t be right until theory is in practice. There will be bugs that limit the potential in practice and bugs that far exceed expectations that no one foresaw until in use. But you have to start leveling something so if one of those class/builds appeals to you it’s a place to start. Necro and Barb have several S tier builds, so likely something will work well if you start there. Or roll the dice and hope something else rises to the top or maybe you see potential the streamers and theorycrafters do not.
I’d bet anything that this tier list is going to be a lot more accurate.

For practice I leveled up a CL sorc using Maxroll build and it was pretty fast. Then I leveled a Lurkin incinerate sorc. About the same leveling. For endgame sorc use Mekuna, Lurkin, and Roxy on mobalytics. Oh don’t use Maxroll’s endgame tier list. Also it always changes after the season start.
Kind of arrogant to label somebody as cut-and-paste when that person may have spent a lot of time researching several different builds and selecting what they believe to be the best. They might actually combine elements of several builds into one build.
Just as there are architects who design buildings there a general contractors who do the building. Just because you like to play the designer doesn’t make you better. A person who is great a researcher may actually build the stronger build and be the better player.
The different guides are largely based on perfect gear. It takes a person who understands the build to successfully modify the build to reflect less than perfect gear.

It looks like maxroll doesn’t care about D4 anymore. Their tier list is pathetic, and they don’t even have a guide for a noxious poison spiritborn which is at least A, but probably S.
I posted the D4Build tier list, which is almost certainly going to be 1000X more accurate, and no one cared, lol.
I will always play necro minion builds. But this new aspect is big FU from Blizz. I highlighted the worst part. Every 4 seconds a minion WILL die. I get letting them die but at least let them last about 10 seconds.

yea i can see that, especially when you can combine this with the new sword, would be a horrible combo right ?
Playing the PTR i had no idea why my minions kept dying and didnt realize this was on one of my items. I put it on due to a legendary status…immediately removed it.
If you want to go above Pit Tier 110 with a Sorc it won’t happen (except Ligthing Spear Overpower snapshotting). But if you want to play the fastest class in T4 or level to Paragon 300 fast running Pits in under 90 seconds, then Sorc is the way to go.
