I was simply posting as an alternative take to the person who posted the Maxroll S8 tier list. I think this will be changed in the first two weeks, making it virtually meaningless. That being said, a lot of people are going to be choosing their first build based on these kind of tier pre-season tier lists.

Use S7 as a starting guide.

Discount anything that saw a huge nerf. Use your best judgement: did it just move it out of S+ tier or did it kill it.

Pick a boss power that matches your class. If they can pump up that element and you can reliably trigger it then it’s probably a good option.

That’ll get you as close as any tier guide.

If s9 looks good I’d really like to see a Twisting Blades Rogue make a comeback. Or Andariel Barrage.

I tend to make builds based on what drops i get from the bosses. My minion necro doesnt benefit from starless skies but i will make an alt from it. Just have fun, play whatever you want.

can’t… playing whatever I want doesn’t yield me highest pit tiers, max glyphs, speed farming T4 tormented bosses…

which is fine…

If you want players to play whatever they want and still be able to max out glyphs, push high into pits and farm tormented bosses with ease, you need to further nerf the content even more to allow this.

Its a choice. Play a build (you dont like) to clear everything in 1 second or play a build you do like and actually have fun. Because you suck at making another class/build clear that content, dont blame anyone but yourself. 2k posts, yeah troll.

Hey by the way, news flash. Everyone play with a purpose in mind. If you don’t got a purpose and just F around in game, sure you do you. But don’t expect player base to stick around playing your game otherwise.
