Journey done with EQ barb playing solo at p180 with level 50ish glyphs and 8/12 Masterwork. I got Shroud as my first and only mythic from random mythic cache.
The T4 bosses aren’t too bad, but the new pit 75 already feels very close to S7 pit 100 so getting glyphs to level 100 may require highly optimized gear.
Like S7, the Hell’s Fury objective can be easily done by killing bunch of Spider Hosts. (the bloated zombies that explode into small spiders when killed)
I said it here before everyone in t4 before will be in t4 this season no matter what % they said. For them to stop us they’d have to make it need 12 hours of grinding a day to reach there basically no lifer or streamers. Like OP I’m playing EQ barb (WW) and my first session I left at paragon 80 and t2 and this class got gutted. I have a chest full of andestrals that I’ll get to after work tomorrow and push to t4. 2 days of playing is all it will take me.
The issue is they didn’t add anything but tried to just stall progress which rubbed me the wrong way in the quest to have player retention. I played 5 characters last season, and after this barb is maxed out they won’t see another from me.
That being said seasonal journey is something I never even used to pay close attention to most times and just passively complete as I played the game
That isn’t complete. You still have a couple objectives to complete in last 2 Tiers.
But you are right on the Pit. I think it is way over tuned. giving Mobs more HP isn’t really increasing difficulty. My Season 7 WW Barb on Eternal now I go into a 100 Pit. In Season 7 I was comfortably doing 120+ in about 3 minutes. But now with damn good gear she Can’t die and mobs won’t even take damage now. I spent 7 minutes just trying to kill an elite pack lol. Even if I had a Seasonal Power on her in Eternal. It Wouldn’t make any difference. 100 is like my go to. I don’t usually push past that. The way it feels as if they instead of giving it a challenge, just buff the HP by an absurd amount lol. That’s what I think.
It’s complete in the sense that there is no more reward to be claimed. I will complete the rest later.
The “hardest” objective will be Live in Excess in chapter 6 because it requires us to make six legendary jewelry caches that cost a lot of gem fragments. Whoever puts that there should be punished by farming gem fragments nonstop in the game for 3 days.
I got ya. Was just giving ya grief from a completionist standpoint lol. You get a fancy title though… However yes. I saw some of those sub objectives and yeah…Doesn’t seem very fun. I will still do them though. lol
T4 Lilith with Belial’s power should be fun… shes such a fun fight! Only one I didn’t do, and unless someone discovers a secret reward/title for 100% like season 1-6, I won’t bother. Same with that 750k gem fragment one, but at least it’s not Lilith!
The Eye Beam’s 50% damage reduction actually makes it possible to tank the wave hit.

As expected, Live in Excess objective in chapter 6 is more time consuming than defeating T4 Lilith.
What are you talking about nerf? There isn’t even an S tier Barb build right now for Barbs. And they are still struggling unless you are exploiting the Unlimited damage build that very small percentage are playing that is likely to get nerfed. Except maybe Sorceress them and barbs are the weakest classes in the game right now.
Nerfing Barb isnt about balance or the health of the game, it is about Justice! About doing a good deed like saving a kitten stuck on a tree branch or sth. Doing good, and nerfing Barb, in particulars, is its own reward. ^^
