For Season 6, the devs should consider adding an iconic Mythic Unique Chest Armor, namely Goldskin. To live up to its name, it would have a unique ability to spawn a gold explosion upon lucky hit and have implicit to expand your gold pickup radius as follows…

No thanks. Any item drop that doesn’t corelate to build enabling growth is not fun. There’s a huge reason why many games have gone away from these sorts of gimmicks.
maybe it would be a chance on hit and not kill so you just stacks ridiculous as and lh and do no damage and who-ack an enemy for like 5 mins straight, like a slot machine…oh maybe the gold amount varies. like sometimes 1 gold sometimes 1 billion.
man imagine just woo-acking the same quillfiend like 100 times and its flesh is lobbed off turning to gold, the whacked has the gold skin not the whacker. (oh maybe they are petrified and turn into like an ore vein rock, yeah a quillfiend shaped rock)
also could just make the chest an actually powerful item with the gold being a bonus, like not enough to make everyone wear it but nice for those who do.
I mean if you’re going this route seems like a missed opportunity not to add something like Lucky hit: % chance when hitting a goblin to make them open a goblin portal.
I think getting gold from infernal hordes is good. Some people want trade in game, Just imagine the numbers if everyone is running around in a Goldskin…
I could take that to some blood surge necro, stick the button on my controller, so it attacks all the time (with mortacrux,so no resource problem) and let it farm gold all night long on some blood maiden location. See my point?
me too, i can understand people that don’t want to feel pushed into wearing mat or gold farming builds though whether because stash space or gear swapping w/e, like the d3 mf / mat sets before the followers could wear them. but i enjoy specific builds also, twinks / gold farm / mat farm / speed.
i think a goldskin item would be fine, theres enough other reasons for being as powerful as possible to not “need” to wear it, if stronger enemies scaled better gear.
the hits drop gold nuggets, ones that have to be picked up, also was thinking of converting gold into a material type that would semi remove the gold cap increasing you just turn like 100m gold into an ingot, and trade ingots, although people would just dupe those somehow if each stack of ingots was worth like 99b, 50b w/e. maybe converting to ingots bind them or shoves them to the materials tab.
