S5 feels "samey"

I’ll play for a minute, but S5 just feels stale to me. Maybe if I spread my play sessions waaaaay out, I will finish season journey before Oct 8th…but it just isnt poppin’ for me.

S5 feels “samey”

Would hope so, they only changed Uniques and gave us the Infernal Hordes, everything else is pretty much the same with some tweaks.

Looks good to me. Since I skipped S4, it looks like I got a much better version of S4 in S5

Guess again lol, S4 was definitely better.

Better? I think that’s relative. For my build S5 is definitely better. More buffs to Burn and Firewall. I guess if you’re Barb, S5 may suck

Last season i had 3 level 100 chars, barb, necro, sorc. Was going to do barb . rogue , sorc this time.

There’s, MANY, reason why S5 is a step backwards. You seem like one of the people who are happy that barbs got power nerfed only because you can’t stand seeing other people have fun.

It’s a shorter season so ehh.

I enjoyed the story and am loving the buffed uniques

The infernal horde thing is growing on me. I didn’t like it in PTR but live, I think it is pretty fun. Maybe you just haven’t experienced the new stuff?

Play or don’t play. Up to you. No one but you cares.

personally i just play the first month of the season (or the second too depending on how i spread it) to play between 30 and 40H total and 100% the season within that time

i then wait for next season.

this way it rarely bore me and i enjoy it. (i would play more i think if the game was harder for example)
depends on the person on that.
just play at your pace, if you are seeking different feeling, wait for expansion in my opinion to have this kind of expectation

i don’t see any compared to S4 personally, they only added things so…
i guess maybe i’d say things made even easier and quicker now is a problem in my opinion, that’s all

i think the story is a nice transition to VoH personally.

i expected very little since its a 2 month season. they get the story transition right there.

Thx for clarification you are main barb

Yeah like I said in a prior post that I made after playing the PTR, it’s kinda meh.

Infernal Hordes is okay to grind xp with but I wouldn’t care to do it much after that personally (guessing it’ll be a popular grind for GA items for others tho). The story is okay but nothing super amazing to me, and the game oddly runs worse for me this season. For a game that has such low system requirements it runs way worse than other free to play games I’ve played on a more state of the art modern engine.

I’m probably going to finish the battlepass for the horse and stuff and maybe log off afterwards. Might do a quick tormented Duriel after finishing to 100.

At least fire sorc and hydras feels pretty darn good now.

Better Uniques, better Ubers, new uniques, new aspects and probably the biggest one for me… Resetting boss fights without having to reset the entire dungeon.

As someone that flexes and plays all classes I couldn’t care less about the Barb nerfs…

Meh, so we’re still in the beta version of a game that is charging us nearly $100 for its expansion after it did for the base game? If you think about it that’s really bad. We’re basically paying for access to beta test and help improve the game to where it should be and VoH will be no different sadly.

I had 6 Level 100s back in S2 when Barb was way overpowered. Still OP in S3. Still OP in S4 but I skipped S4. So I don’t really care how you feel about Barb or not. I was not even in last season except the last two days to warm up for S5 lol.

This one is so f*** convenient tbh. I would normally just skip farming bosses because I hate resetting it by going outside of the dungeon and hitting reset dungeons from the map. This one alone is a big win to me in S5 than S4.

oh yes that one is huge
simple, but oh so great.
i won’t feel too lazy anymore to do them :stuck_out_tongue:

I play Barb and agree with the nerfs

Its because of the reward box format at the end of the season dungeon. I was extremely triggered on stale as soon as that happened. So much so that i don’t plan on doing whatever those things are if i can avoid them.

See what happens.

buncha new uniques and priests instead of vampires.

pretty much same old same old with a couple new options when it comes to gearing.
