Correct, because Helltide Commanders have to come from Random Events. Kixxarth is a zone boss and is excluded from that. Kixxarth is an Assassin boss.
This is what you will have to kill in order to complete the Seasonal Objective:

Nemnos
Zurden

And I can confirm Kixxarth does NOT apply to this objective, and I can also confirm the objective does not need to be completed in a single helltide. As long as you kill one of these commanders with a Profane Mindcage applied, it counts globally.
Iāve lost count of how many portal and whirlwind events Iāve done and I keep getting the same two commanders.

Yup, only had two variants spawn across stacks of the correct two events.
The fact it also isnāt trackable as a quest, nor list the ones youāve done is stupid, but thatās been reported since season 2 and Blizz donāt seem to care to do anything about it, even if it would remove a hell of a lot of confusion for people.
The fact youāre also fighting layers of RNG to kill 5 different boss types is also crap!
This achievement needs to illustrate which of the commanders you have already killed. The simple 0/1 is very stupid, misleading and confusing.
It is annoying. I am running around events for several days and still not done.
Worst part I dont really know which one I am missing.

This is beyond stupid. I have done far too many events and I never see Zurden. Iām about to delete this game as the only good thing about this anymore are the challenges and have played way too many hours trying to get this one stupid commander. I know this is a huge rant but damn this is just dumb. The game is repetitive enough to have to do these stupid events over and over again to get the same basically 3 commanders that always seem to pop up. I want to get the DLC but this makes me question why I waste so much time on this gameā¦
Bugged for sure. Killed 100+ of these commanders and still no achievement.
This is by far the most annoying thing I have come across in Season 4 ā¦ and that is a fairly high bar. agree with what all the others have said

the commanders in question have a metered health bar, like the bosses in the game. regular commanders wonāt give you the completion.
not sure where or when the boss commanders spawn but ive killed 3 of 5 so far, they are hard to find, should be a lil easier to find/spawn. come on Blizzyā¦
I finally found a reliable way to complete this itemā¦ Find one of the events that does spawn the commanders (The whirlwind, portals and one other that i am forgetting) complete it, port to town and port back. If it is not another commander event repeatā¦
I was able to do this in S4 and S5 this way in 2 helltides.
Iām guessing the intent here is that if you play enough Helltide ina season you will naturally complete this, but the reward for events aside from blood maiden is so low compared to farming blood maiden to open all the boxes or running whispers that i tend to skip most events unless I happen on one that is nearly defeated already.
Maybe a fix for this is to make it possible for events aside from blood maiden to be the 5 whisper event? Iām guessing this would get more people seeking out and completing the other events. I know it would give me the motivation needed to do them.
