S2 cements GOTY status for D4

I was pretty confident that D4 would beat out all of the competition for GOTY, and S2 has reinforced that fact. Solid delivery, cool systems, awesome content, important QoL updates.

Not to mention all of its competitors that fell to the wayside.

  • ToTk - single platform last gen dlc (lol)
  • Starfield - DOA day 1 gamepass bug fest
  • Spider-Man 2 - single platform bug fest
  • BG3 - single platform buggy ERP simulator getting no dlc

Pretty safe bet we are taking home the gold and sweeping the competition this year!

Absolutely no shot that D4 wins GOTY. BG3 is head and shoulders better than this game. I say that as someone who actually enjoys D4.

Also worth noting that it’s not single platform, as you noted. It’s on PS5 and PC.

Totk is by far the best game on that list.

You realize your opinion doesn’t determine anything right? Look at the reviews for BG3 compared to D4 lol. It’s a much more well received game and stands a much better chance at GOTY.
