Husks should be account bound. Belial is the easiest and fastest boss. The reason a lot of people RMT husks is because the other bosses are annoying to run and the guaranteed GA item. If only husks are account bound the amount of RMT wouldn’t be felt so much.

but if they did that, how would bliz top exectives get bonuses? They are the ones getting all that extra cash on the side.

I genuinly feel like its a typical fallacy to think company behind the game would get their share of a cut from the RMT, in fact its branding the game to be very broken with no sense of integrity that would make Blizzard lose more would have money over a longer period of time.

Or you know, add boss materials to the materials tab, like many others have been advocating for. None of them can be traded, boom, problem solved, for that anyway, still 999 more problems to go.

They did it before. Why would D4 be any different?
Multi-billion dollar corporations simply do not allow anyone to steal their intellectual property and sell it for personal gain. It just does not happen. You either make it well worth their while or you don’t get the privilege. They are not even considering integrity.
Their is no loss of revenue due to integrity. D4 has a global consumer base. Integrity is defined differently across different cultures. Even if 5% of global consumers engaged in RMT it would be a multi-million dollar business at a minimum each season. If 20% don’t buy the game that normally would due to integrity it would be a drop in the bucket compared to the continuing revenue from RMT.
You in for a harsh wake up my friend, banning would indirectly give them more money as said “groups” would just go and buy their way to new accounts.
I’m quite surprised of such strong beliefs, I hope you not here to sow doubts intentionally, because at its best is just baseless hearsay.
I feel like I’m living in a weird twisted dimenion where not only do they fail to make this game greater, but also falling short on how to squeeze money out of it, it all sounds so oxymoronic.
I’m opened for trading on the other bosses since some builds prefer specific bosses. Hydra sorc breezes through Andi but Mage minion necro hates it.
Yeah, I’m surprised they (bliz) just doesnt put boss mats on the paid battle pass or mythics on the premium battle pass

My original idea was this:
Slim down all boss materials into 3 types only. You can name them whatever you want.
Blue Husks - Used for Tier 1 Lair Bosses
Yellow Husks - Used for Tier 2 Lair Bosses
Orange Husks - Used for Tier 3 Lair Bosses (currently only Belial)
This gets rid of every single boss material in the game, and you can use these husks on any boss as long as you have enough of them. That way you can pick and choose which boss you want to fight. The drop rates would be adjusted to compensate, and they might be more sporadically found, rather than certain activities guaranteeing these mats, but overall I think it’d be a better system.
This is my favorite conspiracy theory that i personally subscribe to regarding the existence of RMT/duping. Like, how much gold can be reasonably farmed even if you ran 10 bots for 48 hours? And you got people buying things for literally 50+ billion gold by Day 2?
The chinese bot farm was in America all along.

Hey guys drop the conversation about Blizzard’s involvement or not in RMT. It doesn’t help the original problem to be addressed.
Regardless of how you solve the problem, RMTers would get upset and would leave the game because of the “inconvenience” caused by having to actually play the game.
I want RMT banned just to see how many people stop playing because they dont want to “play” the game

If only that were the case. RMT wouldn’t stop with just that, it would slow them down sure, but wouldn’t stop them.
Probably not as many as you would think, but we would never have those numbers anyway. People quit games all the time for any number of reasons. Not being able to buy from RMT could very well be one of them, but I doubt anyone would admit to it.
Yeah, we would likely never know the actual reason someone quits.
I can see that being the case, instead having to resort strictly to buying the gear versus farming it, which wouldnt really affect RMTers. Scarcity increases demand, so prices would just go up
No, of course not directly involved, that would be silly. Instead, they can ban accounts and then turn around and sell them new copies. Call it a cost of doing business tax. Blizzard can point to all the strides they are making by banning accounts and the sales they keep generating.
You expect this D4 team to do anything good? Insane.
