WT5 won’t fix the lack of an endgame
70-100 feels a lot more manageable now than it was before the nm dungeon exp buff. But getting a wt-5 I would hope more mob density comes with it.

Different regions on Wt5 could be scaled to different levels of nightmare dungeon going up to tier 100 being the final act in kehjistan.
making builds is an end-game, killing uber lilith is endgame, nm 100 is endgame, just too boring getting there to be worth it.

WT5 is just moving the goal post, it is not content. Will not fix endgame, what you get to 100 faster and to nothing waiting for you there?

A tier 100 of blind burrows can differ from another tier 100 blind burrows.
These will not be on leaderboards lmfao, if they are it will be 20 different leaderboards per each dungeon based on the affixes present otherwise it makes no sense.
A tier 90 blind burrows can be harder than a tier 100 blind burrows, nightmare dungeons are bad design.
To be fair it could allow a lot more builds to push towards tier 100 (there are way too few builds capable of doing this), especially if the new tier of loot from WT5 was pretty rare to find to compensate for the power bonus it gives. This would make 80-100 feel more enjoyable and subsequently allow you to push higher tiers.
Alternatively, without it, 80-100 was boring and I did a tier 70 dungeon and quit playing because I know my build wouldn’t push much further regardless of what I found.
I would have played more if there was another tier and more items to obtain other than what I already found on level 60-80
I can see WT5 at level 85 or 90 coming with an increase to item power.
Instead of 725+ tier… there could be a 820-920 tier where gear scales better.
Would give more people the ability to run 70+ nightmare dungeons more comfortably.
I would say maybe 1% of the playerbase is doing NM 80+ dungeons. I just made that number up… but I can’t imagine too many people doing it.
But maybe the seasonal powers will give people that little boost, who knows.
It will be interesting to see how leaderboards are implemented. I wonder if there will be separate leaderboards for each dungeon?
Because there is such a huge difference in the times and playstyles and difficulty of each dungeon… some have endbosses and some don’t.
Same, I did a 70 on my sorc and was like… i’m not really sure how I would improve enough to get to 100 without spending hours like killing one mob at a time being super careful.
I mean, I might do that in the future for a leaderboard, but it makes no sense to now
Just adding higher difficulties won’t fix anything.
If you want more HP/Damage in the enemies, just do even higher NMD?
I mean, don’t get me wrong, some higher WT would be nice down the road. But it feels very low priority now and will just stretch the population out across more modes/difficulties right now.

We do need a higher WT, maybe even two atm, and they should come with a higher item tier. Currently 80+ feels very unrewarding.
But we also need to fix the gameplay loop late/endgame. Nightmare dungeons rewards needs to scale with difficulty, possibly with the very highest NM difficulties giving item rewards only obtainable there.
Tree of whisper rewards also need to scale with both world difficulty and character level better, higher exp, better items and maybe add a rare crafting mats reward option. Basically it needs reasons to do it late/endgame.
Helltide, well they just tried to address that, despite their little mishap, adding the possibility for the chests to drop uniques is a good change. I would like them to add some actual hard wandering bosses and have an end boss when helltide is about to be over.
legion events and world bosses also generally needs better rewards at higher character levels and world tiers, especially if they add a higher world tier.
Bring on that world tier 7 bud. Come on Blizzard, put up your dukes. More gear tiers. Not an inventory full of turds from your last loot run.
