Event does not work, you have to kill bats before they merge for the mastery and you do not get credit for killing said bats.

I just had this bug in Heathen’s Keep right now. And I can see that this post is fairly old, so might be something that happens sporadically and not always?
I think it bugs out when the blood altar is not there for the current season… If the altar is not there the bat kills dont count towards achievement.
Three years later and this event is still bugged lol
