Runs smooth as butter @ 4k-120FPS. 3080ti. DLSS and Frame generation just added

Unable to select second monitor and change resolution in-game is quite a tremendous step backwards. Previous beta worked much better in my case. Resolution issues must be fixed asap. And 30 fps cap cutscenes? Doesn’t bother me much but I know for some it’s important. Don’t see performance improvement in this new beta. Game runs smooth though, but not being able to change resolution is a deal breaker.

13700k, 32gb DDR5 6000Mhz, RTX 3090 FE. I get close to 120 but hover around 100 to 110 with 1% lows around 50-70 at 4k everything set to ultra. Unsure how you are getting better frames with a lower spec system. The stuttering present in the previous beta has not been resolved completely either. It isn’t as frequent but is still very much there.

Bring back fullscreen now! Spread this to make blizzard aware!

Level 8 atm. With DLSS off I have yet to drop below 90. I did luck out quite a bit with my CPU and GPU as they boost very well on default settings.

I’m playing with DLSS(quality) on to stay at 120. I can’t see any visual difference. In almost every other game I can see the visual loss with DLSS on.

*Windfall Hollow
Core clock 1750(Usually it boost to 1850ish)
VRAM 11000
99% usage
100-120 FPS

DLSS off

All this tech talk is beyond me. All I know is that I have a 1080ti, and I’m running Ultra smooth as butter. Temp is nominal at about 50 degrees. shrug

AMD 5700xt is running at 95°c while playing. And getting 30 fps in the world areas. Last beta ran on high with no issue so not sure. Not gonna play until I can find out why.

It plays surprisingly well on my steam deck too. Not quite 60 fps but it gets in the 50s and I don’t notice any slowness so it’s very playable.

really impressed with the optimizations, my game is running so much better than last time.

Could you allow fullscreen at least by command line? It runs badly since they removed exclusive fullscreen, even with my new 4070. I try to run it on a 4K60 TV but I have also a 1440p144 monitor so I guess that might be the culprit.

I can’t even get FidelityFX to work in WoW. I wonder if I have a setting overridden in my drivers.

After I exited the game yesterday it gave another small update.
Yesterday I also had only FidelityFX on a 4070ti now I have NVIDIA DLLSS but Frame Generation is grayed out, BTW Max Foreground FPS is @ 150 but i only get 60 fps max Monitor (1. Generic PnP Monitor) & Resolution is grayed out Refresh Rate I can’t selected anything either and shows nothing.

For Frame Generation it mentions:
Frame generation boosts frame rates by using AI to render additional frames. This feature requires a GeForce RTX 40 Series graphics card and that “Hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduling” is enabled in Windows.
Will we get that on release when we get DLSS 3 ? And where to check if it is enabled or which tool to use to check that ?

open world runs much better but now dungeons are awful.
yesterday and today again. 120fps openworld and 650 in dungeons. but something else is wrong. extrem stuttering just by walking around in the dungeon

Game runs really smooth for me. :beers:

My game crashed constantly at anything above minimum settings last time. Now I get zero crashes at high settings, so something has been fixed for sure.

I’m still running a 1060 and it runs fine
