Last Beta the game felt stuttery. It’s super smooth for me now. Just some info. 4k,110-120 FPS, 100% GPU usage, max settings.
With DLSS on I get 120 FPS at 70% usage and I don’t notice any loss in regard to image quality. Frame generation is an option for 4000 series users.
Win 11
12900k
3080ti
**I think DLSS and Frame gen were just added 10 minutes ago? I don’t recall seeing them before.
***I did not look at VRAM usage and cutscenes are capped at 30 FPS for whatever reason.

dlss isnt in rn they somehow got fidelity fx instead
how can i believe anything else now heh
still just as bad for me. in fact a bit worse. dash is unfluid now.
Nice to hear.
I need to find a bit of time to test the beta this weekend to see if my constant crashes are fixed too.
It was just added within the past 10 minutes I believe. It’s in the options.
they just started it with fidelity and fixed it within an hour to dlss? okay. a bit weird. guess i have to restart and risk a queue now
DX12 can’t do True Fullscreen I believe. Chances are the setting was just labeled incorrectly before. Performance shouldn’t be an issue unless you have a really old GPU and are trying to use Win 7. You definitely want to be using Win 10 pref Win 11 at this point.

Last beta they had it for the first day and removed it for zero reasons. Now my game lags and it tears. Games should always have the option to turn on fullscreen. This was even possible in diablo 1 in year 1996. Blizzard, bring back the fullscreen!
Not sure what to tell ya, bud. No issues here. If D4 is a DX12 only game you never had true fullscreen, the setting was just mislabeled. Good luck!
1440p, ultra everything, 80 fps without dlss, 110 with dlss. Oled monitor with g-sync. It feels incredible.
All that on a i7 4790k + rtx 2070. Impressive.

It was there and I could play. My gpu hates direct12 windowed mode and will green out. If they will not add it back I am forced to refund the whole game sadly although I play diablo for 20 years and would love to keep playing. I need to go back then to diablo 1 in year 1996 where we could adjust a fullscreen
I have a feeling you’re running win 7. You need to at least use Win 10 due to DX 12. That being said, I hope you figure out issue and can play. Enjoy your weekend.
3080ti. i’m getting occasional stuttering. not as bad as last beta weekend but still noticeable
Surprisingly I have not had a single stutter yet. Kinda shocked by how smooth it’s running. Sadly I have to log off for a bit.
Just as smooth as last betas. Still allocating nearly 20GB of VRAM though. But this time there is an “ultra” setting for texture quality. Still doesn’t cause any stuttering on a 4090 for me though but is odd.
Intel 13700k
RTX 4090
32GB DDR5 (7000mhz)
Locked 138 fps (nvidia’s reflex cap for 144hz refreshrate)
3440x1440 resolution
~50% GPU usage
Max settings, DLSS off.
Game is super easy to run.
I am using windows 10, gpu is a amd 580, 32gb ram, 8 corse cpu. 4k monitor. Yet I got issues with the damn windowed. Idiotic direct12. They had this fullscreen setting in the old beta. I could play it. This is so pathetic. How do you all tweak your resolution now? In windows menu come on you know they messed up settings for you to do so
Good to know thanks for sharing. Haven’t been home yet but DLSS 3 was supposed to come at launch. Looks like they were able to push it out early ^^ I do see the info on NVIDIAs site too
I noticed zero image loss on my big a$$ 4k screen. I’m assuming it’s using DLSS2 for my 3080ti. I have a 55 inch screen and see zero pixelation.
That’s awesome! I put my 3080ti in my newphews build when I upgraded my card. There were definitely stuttering issues when you entered town and new zones on high textures so I’m excited to see how they’ve optimized that… seems like they’ve done some good work though no?
