I dunno man Id rather just run gems than have a tiny green sneeze cloud (spiritborn evocation) or baby meteor gently tap one mob on the head. The do this thing to make that thing happen also seems…meh.
Soeaking of gems, rather than removing/changing functionality why not give the jeweler an ability to further customize them, like cut the ruby one way and it gives health on armor and another way gives strength?

rune words giving +stats would be nice, like procing “gems gain X20 % stronger”
still think they could bring back S2’s Malignant Hearts “aka caged hearts” again, just skip the barber due to the chaos of effect it had, the other ones were ay-OK
They already have brought back many of the hearts as items and aspects.
why not to gem sockets anyways ? they just keep nerfing players Armor/Resist to MAKE jewelry sockets still “relevant” why not add something more interesting ?
