Runewords in Diablo 4

Every season has just been having to jump through the Season’s hoops to still use the same old skill the exact same old way since pre-launch… and now the best thing the devs can come up with for runewords are to repeat the same… freaking… skills… again???

Has this game just been a long play at getting the Diablo community back for the hate we all gave Diablo Immortal? Because this really does seem like an out of season April Fools joke.

How long do you plan on carrying on with us using the same, very few skills over and over again with nothing significantly changing them? You stated before launch that the skills we started with were only the beginning, and that you would add more. Coming close to 2 years later you will give each class ONE single new skill… and honestly they all look more uninspired than your “runewords”.

You creative types working at Blizzard actually do have some creativity somewhere, right?

RuneSounds

Runewords would be something like ‘Enigma’, ‘Grief’, ‘Heart of the Oak’ but these are just mashing two runes together to add another lame Legendary Aspect.

It’s goofy af

Well they apparantly caved and made a teleport runeword so that all classes can get around better—> (enigma from D2 reborn). And several others from what Ive seen. I can’t see how it’s going be anything useful in D4 though, cant use it on boss runs so it’s just faster Pits, gathering mats, Etc I guess ??

Uhhhh maybe go look up enigma, we are not getting that. We are getting a skill you can use after filling a 2nd mana pool that’s it, there are no runewords yet just runes

our statistics show that druid players love channeling skills because everyone has it for this “stormslide” build… so heres another channeling skill for them lol

I think blizz would have been better off just not bothering with this feature. The only players who care about this are D2 fanatics who doesnt like anything unless it is a carbon copy of D2.

Lol, what exactly did they do?

I think they put their creativity skill points in marketing.

Truth. These “rune words” are crap compared to those found in D2R.

How did I miss 10 months?

“Coming close to 2 years later you will give each class ONE single new skill…”

As in… after the xpac launches this October (which would then mark 1.5 years already). Therefore… you know… “coming close to 2 years later…”

Sorry that super fast paced comment flew over your head.

Oh! And… uhhh… 4 months into the second year with this game is “just barely over a year” to you? That’s almost half way through the second year, mate.
