Paragon ~215 for the season. I’ve been farming T4 since like Paragon 100.
I have found 1 legendary rune and there are still some rare runes I haven’t found.
And mythics? They don’t exist.
And farming bosses takes forever now b/c of the stupid invulnerability phases.
Seriously, what have you done to the game?
Runes are the only thing that are “somewhat” rare. Mythics absolutely are not. Now even less with the guaranteed spark farm.
What the issue with something being a tiny bit rare tho?
The forum dwellers who sell stuff for RMT will disagree. A rune for 10-15 billion gold when it takes 6 to craft a mythic.
When you farm a boss 1 hundred times and have to sit through invulnerability phases each time and have nothing to show for it, rarity is an issue.
well, luckily for the people suffering from bad luck can also get back to secured resplendent sparks.
Personally i tend to not believe people who claim theyve done “hundreds of boss runs without seeing any mythics” but heck, i cant prove it so theres that, and i guess bad luck does exist, so maybe im a little too biased there.
Im happy with rune chase and the mythic drop rate. Felt so much more rewarding than S7.
what rune exactly sells for 10-15b?
Heck, i sold legendary runes early in the season for like 600-800m depending on the rune.

nothing is rewarding when stuff doesn’t drop. it will however cause player frustration and burnout though , guess what that leads to ?

I’ll admit, I haven’t logged into the game for a while and just log onto Wowhead and this forum to see if there’s any changes that might spark interest. When I did log on, and I needed a rune to craft a mythic, people in the trade channel would offer to sell for 15b invariably. I would also get offers from nice players who offer for free or practically, but there are a lot more on the trade channel asking for billions of gold.
If you don’t know that, either you don’t play (except the forum) or you’re a shill.

Currently runes are like 300m. Ohm tends to go a bit higher.
I dont really like playing d4 as a trading sim, hence i sell legendary runes early in the season to get some nice gold that carries me enchanting costs and masterwork resets in the season.
Wow, I’ve heard of deflation. Must be due to the low demand due to people not playing this season. BTW, I play (played) mainly eternal (past seasons I’d play 1 or 2 chars on seasonal, but this season not worth it).
Farming sparks by creating and deleting characters is degenerate gameplay and shouldn’t be considered a proper way to accomplish things.
indeed it is very degen and tedious. I can never do it. The outcome is still a RNG gamble so it is not worth it for me at all.
I don’t think blizzard intends the scroll to be played this way. But if some of few player base wants to play it the “degen” way, let them LOL…
But I bet majority of the player base don’t have 15-20K ashes sitting around. I am talking your average player. So even if they wanted to do, they can’t even do it lol not enough ashes
THIS is the by far most annoying part of season 8 !!
(I don’t farm the new bosses at all because of that, each fight feels like a WoW fight taking 10 minutes to kill because of forced mechanics and stop phases)
well, seasons die off. I mean, what you “heavily need” early in a season, is something that you just have at a later point in a season. More people get to have said item, and more people are willing to sell it too. Of course that lowers prices.
I think I am actually going to live through the death of loot-based ARPGs. It’s going to be fascinating to watch. Let’s talk about this piece first:
This isn’t an amount of “time”.
If the activities you are doing are geared towards experience and not loot then your odds of finding [who cares] are not optimized. Let’s say that you’re running some pits between running the world map and some NMDs and other stuff. Whatever it is you’re not running a Duriel only activity set-up.
You are playing suboptimally to get [that thing] and so not running into [do you even really need it at this point?] especially in the pits or the overworld is a given. The way people now think of these games is just so weird to me. Instead of being able to say, “I spent 12 hours on Duriel and got nothing.” which is a complete, meaningful statement people now say, “I am level X doing whatever the f- I want and I still don’t have my shiny! WTF?”
Okay, maybe you shouldn’t have got one because you spent half your time in the pit where nothing drops?

That’s so sad. I mean I won’t say that having a new paradigm is bad but I just wasn’t ready for everyone, all at once to decide that the classic formula sucks. Gaming, and perhaps all products in general, are moving towards that individual experience driven model so it wouldn’t surprise me if someday all games come with a cheat that lets you basically change your own drop rate outside of the lore or something clever. A literal slider.
I’ve gone through like 3 stacks of Duriel mats alone, which is at least 100 runs as well as killed Andariel and Belial multiple, multiple times and I have no mythics and 1 legendary rune. Is that enough time for you?
You killed Duriel 100 times on T4 and have nothing to show for it? 
You are a very unlucky person.
I highly recommend you complete the season journey and just use the resplendent spark.
