RTX2070 Frame Drops

I’m here once again asking for your support.

I have an RTX2070 in my laptop that runs the game at a solid 130fps with no issues. However during the server slam when I would teleport the frame rates would drop down to 5 and would pick back up and I would be good to go. Well it seems like this problem has increased and now happens randomly. I can go an hour playing before it happens and sometimes it happens the second I login. I have done a fresh install of Windows, updated bios, graphics drivers, dx, etc and it’s still happening. When this happens I noticed that the fan speed drops, GPU % and wattage all drop at the same time causing the FPS to tank. Temperatures stay at 70C under load. Any suggestions on how to narrow down the problem or have a solution? Is there any way to force the minimum wattage so it can’t drop?

you can try this, although i think it might be a hard drive problem for the gpu to grab textures fast enough. something ive done is Control Panel>Network and Internet>Network Connections and properties of (your) internet > configure > advanced > enable adaptivity > value > enabled.

I don’t seem to have this option available to me in order to change as it’s not listed in the Advanced menu :frowning:
