Rouge max energy equipment upgrades not applying in HUD

I have a rare helm with +7 maximum energy on my Rouge character. The HUD shows 107 energy.

I improve the armor and it becomes +8 maximum energy. The HUD still shows 107 maximum energy, no matter how many times I re-equip the item.

It does show 108 maximum energy in Materials and Stats panel.

Same to me, on helm +23 energy but shows only 122 energy.
