When trying to complete the Roots Ablaze achievement, i get to about 22 of 25 roots exposted, and then it resets back to 1. i have no idea why. its drying me nuts. anyways, this is definitely a bug
You have to do it in 15 mins, tops.
So if you have 22 after 15 min, it resets back.
Read the requirements, it’s written there…

yes, i do know that part. but it is happening way before that time. thats my issue.
yeah, I’m getting this same issue. I used the Timer on the map to track, and it’s resetting before 15mins.
The achievement tracks a rolling 15 minute time period. So, for example, if you start by opening 10 roots in the first 5 minutes, then have a rough patch and get only 6 more in the next 10 minutes, your total drops to 5 at the 15 minute mark. The game only counts the roots you have opened in the last 15 minutes and the counter drops to reflect this.
This is a tough challenge because only roots you click on count, and you are competing with other players to click on the roots before they do.
