Why does my friends barbarian with 6k atk power hit in the millions and my rogue with 13k atk can barely hit 150k
ur first mistake is to look at the “attackpower”, its a worthless indicator that is also missleading u.
u can stack endless additive dmg and your “attackpower” skyrockets, but u effectivly dont deal much more dmg…
u have to stack multiplicative dmg on gear to gain ACTUAL dmg → vulnability dmg / crit chance+crit dmg / main stat / all the additive dmg u will gain from paragon mostly.
suddenly u have maybe just ~10k “attackpower”, but u deal much more dmg.
on top, barb is still busted so dont look at your friends dmg lol
Thats my point…its not my mistake its a valid question.
I’ve been playing diablo for 30yrs why break 4…it should function no different than the others the attack power should be the base number the percentages…additive or multiplier work from.
Like the resistance you can’t get to adsorption cause the do less the more u have it says …the atk seem falsely reprepresentative and that my issues .
I’d like it fixed diablo has always been a very simple…easy to figure…well balanced game,
Why change or complicate that?
I dont care barbs hit a million i just want my numbers to be accurate representatives so i can do the same.
