I can’t find it anywhere else, so I’ll ask here: How effective is a Rogue who relies only on dual-wielding two weapons? I have the Ancestral Mythic Unique (purple) sword, and I’m thinking of starting a new Rogue that doesn’t use a bow or crossbow.
AMTOF, RG DT is S-tier S8 build…
A Rogue in Diablo 4 can be very effective without using a bow! The class has strong melee builds that focus on Twisting Blades, Smoke Grenades, and Imbuements to deal massive damage while staying mobile.
One of the best melee Rogue builds revolves around Twisting Blades, which lets you strike an enemy and then have the blades return to you, hitting multiple foes along the way. This build pairs well with Smoke Grenades, which daze enemies, preventing them from attacking.
For survivability, Siphoning Strikes provides lifesteal, helping the Rogue stay alive in close combat. Meanwhile, Poison, Cold, and Shadow Imbuements add extra elemental damage, making melee attacks even deadlier.
If you enjoy fast-paced, close-range combat, a melee Rogue can be just as powerful as a bow-focused one! Want to dive deeper into specific melee builds?
Death Trap is far more deadlier than Twisting Blades or any other RG build…
I’ll say this, Ricacarv: I’m saving all mu Ancestral Uniques, and a LOT of them build up Trap powers.
It’s only needed 4 uniques, nothing more…
