I’m currently level 68 and this is the first time that I’ve tried Poison Trap and the tool tip in the skill tree shows that it does “12,110 damage over 9 seconds” but when a mob walks over it only ticks for 200 damage?
Am I missing something here?

Depends what your fighting. Try it on a creature your level - 68. If you are in a nightmare dung like 79 lvl mobs will take less damage.
Its buged or the tooltip is wrong. if it says 12.110 over 9 sec and you do 200 per sec for 9sec thats 85%less then the tooltip.
I think it is bug. Same for me it does tik a 200-300 for 9 sec on same lvl as me. when it is suppossed to do 14000 damage over 9 sec. hope they will fix it.
