I have 0 idea why this was done, but you guys stealth nerfed one of the best build ideas you have had since the start of this game. Everyone loved 0 braincell god DH and this was better version handsdown. Without inner sight working with unlimited charges this build cannot sustain the spin at all, im upwards of 180% movespeed at all times and still can’t manage. Plz revert/fix this so i/all rogues can actually play this build and benefit from a rogue specialization seeing as how the others do not go with this build at all.
Its acually heart breaking. I was so excited for this build. I thought it was going to be like the GoD Demonhunter from D3.

Saw many content creators showcasing this build, looked smooth and fun to play. But now its all clunky, difficult to keep charges up to keep spinning. I’m very close to just quitting the rogue and playing something else, really wish there was something to help keep charges up and/or make it more easier to make spin more constant.
I quit mine and joined the crowd with Spiritborn. It was the second class I was going to make after I fully geared out my rogue anyway. I just didnt anticipate quitting my rogue.
I agree 100%. I had so much fun with that build during PTR when it was working well and was looking forward to play it as my first class. But as you said, currently it’s unplayable. Channelling constantly drops and it’s a horrible experience and nothing like GoD DH from Diablo 3.
There was a patch today? I think?
- Fixed an issue where the duration of Dance of Knives was shorter than intended.
- Fixed an issue where Dance of Knives could become unable to be cast if the Skill was used repeatedly while no charges were available.
anyone know if this helped/fixed the charges dropping often?
Sadly, it does not fix it.
I dont think they ever intended for the spin to be as long as it was, which is why the Combo Point aspect exists.
No, the update didn’t fix that.
I wonder what was the intention intention actually and what is the fantasy of that skill. I agree that combo points aspect suggest that maybe it was not meant for endless channelling. But then at permanent movement speed 200 sometimes I am able to keep up the spin for quite a long time and sometimes it just stops instantly, so behaviour is not consistent. Normally all skills are in unlimited use once the builds reach endgame and you can spam anything, so I’m not sure why this skill would be excluded. Also it’s not an OP skill either even if it is endlessly spinning.
I will try to swap to combo points build and see if it’s more enjoyable.
inner sight by definition of the passive allows infinite resources, channel stacks of this ability are it’s resource. It should work the same way as it does for the other resource spending abilities.
All these nerfs are to force us to buy the expansion and play with the new class.
