Rogue class needs some help

The idea was to stop death trap from being the only viable pit build, hence it was nerfed. Today 7-9-25 the best pitbuild for rogue is Death Trap, even after the nerf. The rogue’s ceiling was lowered with nothing else in place to push it back up. Either un-nerf the death trap build or take a look at the other builds going on to see if they can be raised a bit. A change to inner sight might do the trick, either longer effect duration or automatically prioritize elites, give it a boost for consecutive core skill used?

I concur after playing a week into S9. Rogue is “rock bottom” class in S9 unless something dramatic happens. I doubt they intend to boost Rogue class performance mid-season, that’s for Season 10 or even DLC 2 since a lot of skills have bad form factor or damage output.

Just play casual, or play seriously until you can pass lvl. 100 pit. Then AFK or play another class.

RG is always teh botom class in any D franchise game…

I was such a huge fan of the monk in D3… idk why i can’t seem to enjoy the SB. I think i just dislike the entire class design… we already had a druid with animals… why did they have to make it another animal class.

They changed Diablo’s storyline to power rangers animal crackers adventure time for the Spiritborn and the expansion. That’s probably why you don’t like it.

They gave us that silly flurry helm while also changing the functionality of the better morph of the skill to accommodate the mini game you need to make that helmet work. I made it to T4 despite the glaring weaknesses. Bossing on the other hand was near impossible. I’ve moved on to minion Necro which also got a new unique and does 100x the damage of the rogue.

Blizzard is just wrong and messed up BIG TIME in this area when it comes to nerfing and constantly weakening players and taking away progress during season game play! This is NOT a free game, Blizzard D4 Team! We paid for this broken, buggy Beta game, and YOU need to STOP taking away players progress and weakening players further as you have been doing every damn season of Diablo 4 instead of fixing and improving the game as you been promising for the past 2 years!

Not to mention, the repetitve and only real “end game” is the Pit runs to slowly grind and level up Glyphs in the worst way by making it a percentage chance for the past few seasons that often fails at 90% percent! Talk about epic damn fail and slowing players down! That is just messed up to include in Diablo 4! Why the hell is Blizzard doing this crap and ruining game progress and slowing players down and nerfing things in the game that makes playing D4 fun, knowing there is only 3 months or less to each season!? It’s bad, considering all of the other things that need to be done to progress in the game!

Since Blizzard added the repetitive Pit in Diablo 4 with 150 tier levels, it should be possible for all classes to reach top Pit levels once players have grinded enough to get the necessary gear, weapons, and proper builds at max level, and at least 225 to 250 Paragon Points. Blizzard needs to STOP hindering players fun and progress in the game, and revert their awful, artificial BS game mechanics that are slowing down player progress, along with their unnecessary mass nerfs that continue weakening players and ruining the game experience! This has been happening every season in Diablo 4!

STOP the BS nerfing spree, Blizzard, and stop breaking your promises to finally fix and improve Diablo 4 as you been saying for over 2 years now, and test the game, D4, in a better way before you release updates to avoid further issues in the game. You should know better by now, Blizzard D4 Team!

There is NO damn reason for Blizzard to keep slowing players down and making the game unfun, unrewarding and punishing, and worst of all is taking away players progress during D4 Season game play and continuing to nerf things in the game to make things worse! * That is just WRONG OF YOU BLIZZARD D4 TEAM AND MANAGEMENT!

For Blizzard to artificially slow down players, and keep causing the game to get worse is not good or acceptable. You need to step up to the plate Blizzard D4 Team and Management, and get it the hell together and stop ruining the game, slowing players down and taking away the fun and potential for this game to be better. Instead of improving and fixing the game as you been promising for the past 2 years, your careless and neglectful actions are making Diablo IV worse, not better!

On The Awful and Shameful Battle Pass:
Also Blizzard Team, revert or improve your Shameful Battle Pass changes that charge the same price for less rewards, and 500 less Platinum, and making it very difficult to get Season Blessings / Smoldering Ashes, which now players can barely get until they are level 60. This is not something you do, Blizzard, to your loyal D4 players who paid for this broken, buggy, nerf-ridden, Beta game!

With that said, Blizzard D4 Team, be considerate of the all of the D4 players who paid and continue supporting the game, as I do, and fix and improve the game as you been promising for the past 2 years and finally take D4 out of Beta, and give players the power fantasy and rewarding fun, which is what this game is suppose to be! Diablo 4 can be awesome in many ways, but it seems you have not been really listening to the community and loyal players as you should! STOP making things worse for the game and all players who paid and continue supporting the game. While some fixes and improvements have been made, which is appreciated, there is still a lot more that needs to be done to fix, improve and add quality of life features the game sorely needs. It’s long overdue after 2 years since Diablo 4 launched.

I hope you, Blizzard D4 Team and Management, finally fix and improve D4 as we all originally expected and paid for over 2 years, and make the game awesome as it should be! As I mentioned many times before, You can do better, Blizzard!

wonder if there are still early season adjustments to weaker classes.

That means Rogue is fine, need nerf the others

If by that snide remake you mean Blizzard has destroy every single previous good Rogue build then, yeah.
Got to T4 but soloing bosses without really, really good gear and only by playing Death Trap (again) is basically an impossibility. I mean it has to bother other people to be at a Blood Maiden fight and just watch a Sorc waltz in and one tap her when you’re struggling to take down trash.

They need to not only need the others l, they need to balance content along Sid those nerfs. Right now the game is balanced to those top tier builds but n an attempt to slow them down, which they can’t because they will still one tap anything without an immunity phase.

Meanwhile on my Flurry Rogue I found out the hard way that Urivar has multiple one shot mechanics and immunity phases if your damage is not high enough. This drug the fight out to over 7 minutes in T3. This is a lesser boss mind you and the rewards for playing the fight as intended are still awful.

Had a similar experience with Zir for fight duration and a floor full of blood pools by the end. A nearly 6 minute boss fight on T3 and the same bad rewards.

Even though I have unlocked T4 this build has no chance against the boss ladder even if I push the MW to 12/12. It lacks the damage potential to do anything other than HT and NMD. Forget the escalation sigils, it won’t clear Astaroth in time either.

Rogue and barb racing to the bottom

Lol isn’t it funny that they did this and the same thing to barbs and guess what DT still rules the class. It was crazy when they killed RoA after s7 because ultimates shouldn’t be doing what they were doing but we still live in a world bloodwave is a top necro build. We all knew barbs and rogues would be trash and some here were saying to wait. Looks like you become trash when you get no compensation at all and get even more nerfs to break your class right before the season. Blizzard randomly nerfing tornadoes also from the top ropes because people made some pet nadoe builds for barbs on the PTR was also hilarious.

Pen shot is really smooth his season. Im not a fan of having to spam potions thou. You can spend the points elsewhere but its not quite as strong

I’ve been waiting for twisted blades to be good again since s2 lol, sad they nerf fun builds to the point they aren’t worth playing compared to others, give us some resemblance of balance already, but that’s like asking for the impossible from this team

Is there any other class where they introduced two new builds and both are equally underpowered in Endgame? I may be simple but couldn’t the dmg numbers just be scaled up a little?
