I’m waiting until I experience it to make judgements

rob played 25 hours / 24 per day and had the amazon pee/sh1t machine so he didnt have to stand up for anything during those hours. calm down.

It’s basically the hardcore “one game Andy’s” complaining. They only want to play one game ever so they need a long and tedious grind to give them a reason to play.

Rob is like highest tier S knowledge on diablo 4, most pro gamer expert like wudijo, raxx, kripp, and other more players coming up too. We all are casual average players dont have time because we have job, marriage, busy in life etc…, those people are just extremely lucky to be alive during 2023.

Not only did he play 80 hours he was probably incredibly efficient with that time. the game shouldn’t be balanced around such a player.

While I agree with you, this is a cry into the void. Many people base RNG off the experience of highly effective players that most of us won’t come close to even if we played a lifetime. They can’t bear the fact that someone who doesn’t play the game 10 hours a day will have at least a chance to have a decent build.

The people complaining are most likely the same people that have less than 800 paragon nonseason in d3 but have played seasons for the last 5+ years, still haven’t completed a GR70 solo, and think that they’ll clear all the content in a week in D4.

It’s pretty sad really.

Let’s say 18 hours per day for 10 days. That’s 180 hours.

Let’s say you play 9 hours per week. That would take you twenty weeks to hit 180 hours. Plus you are dealing with a lower drop rate.

So, it might not takes you years to beat the game in eternal. But finishing the game and beating the pinnacle boss in a season will be a very real challenge for many players.

You’ve almost described me lol. I think I went up to 110 solo, and had over 1K paragon, but I think that translated into less in non-season.

Sometimes I feel like I played a different D3 than some other people. Many act like it showered you with BiS gear, while in reality it took me weeks to get a decent build together while playing more than two hours almost every day. The amount of variations of what you could get was pretty high.

Now D2 on the other hand. I got my first Shako after about a year in D2R. But I can’t say I want D4 to be like that.

If the drop rate of uniques is really too high, hope they adjust it. But judging by how many legendaries my SO and I dropped in Server Slam, people blow the drop rate way out of proportion just because of this guy who knows the most effective ways of farming.

I literally played up to about paragon 800 in each season from 13 to about 25.
Had 1700 non season and never solo’d above 115.

In the last 2 seasons i reached 1250 and about 3000 paragon respectively.
I’ve put so much effort in to this current season and i still don’t have the ancient/primals i really need.
I can solo GR150 but my best is about 12 minutes and it only works if i get a really good map, without ranged mobs, and good pylons.

Otherwise I’m hitting 25m+.

I feel like D4 is going to be MUCH more difficult to get to the same point.

I played for about 2 weeks and got my necro to about 85, and was able to do wt4, but elites and bosses were HARD, unless surrounded by trash.

I consider myself a casual in D4 and look forward to spending much more than a couple of weekends in D4.

I mean its simple, the game should be more viable with the updates themselfs and not with a extreme rare item drop rate. I mean classes such as druid really need those uniques and legendaries to shine. If you make the drops more hard, these classes will be no fun at all and people will start to cry about some classes hitting the wall in endgame. You will never make everyone satisfied, its just how it is! I am so happy that the drop rates are a bit more casual, because I got to work and I wont be able to play as much as I did when I was a teen. I mean the game will add new uniques and so anyways. Be happy about the game as it is. Also to clear it up, if the drops going to be like in the server slam then the items wont be dropping as much as people try to gaslight in these threads. People say some bs about candy drops and diablo 3 drops, but where is the context? I played the server slam and the legendaries dropped for me like every 4 hours if I was really lucky. I mean some people will probably even cry about such a drop rate, but its nothing even close to the diablo 3 drop rate where great rifts on high tiers such as 90+ almost guarantee you to get legendaries!

  1. You knew what it meant, so what’s the issue?

  2. What should they be called? Some long drawn out description that says the same thing?

Ignored.

So you can’t answer those two simple questions.

oh now it makes sense, you was on this thread and then stalked my profile to gaslight one of my other threads, I got it now. You got reported. You are so hurt about my opinion just because I dont think that the drop rate is broken, get some help

A lot of no-lifers got the early early access and he’s the only one who was able to beat the entire game in 10 days. No other videos with different classes or builds doing the same thing.

It’s basically 1 broken unique for 1 build on 1 class that he used to break the game; I’m sure it’ll get nerfed.
