Yes The devs loves gambling. They even managed to make gylph leveling a gamble. Live with it. I doubt they have time to create a sort of new crafting. like actual crafting.
Dev’s don’t want to leave those choices freely in “players” hands.
And they have a huge reason for that…
Imagine what would happen if they do what you want.
Obducite spent would be cut in almost 50%, and would make the “perfect” masterworking perfectly anchieved in no time.
Hordes would be a grind fest, because would give insane amount of goodies…
Basically game would be easyer.
And it is going the other way… the right way…
D4 is by far the least RNG gated aRPG on the market… others games (that I won’t mention here) are a RNG gatefest, do you want walk two feet - RNG, do you want to breath - RNG, do you want to dodge roll - RNG.
They sure do make decisions on RNG or as in D4 weighted RNG. It is all based on the marketing and statistics they need. If it was true RNG it would be less of a time sink and, in their minds, not keeping you in game long enough. The whole game is full of this.
Some video does not prove or disprove weighted RNG. I can make one of those as well. Anyone who has rerolled anything in D4 sees the same thing rolling 90% of the time repeatedly over many different items. That is not RNG. There is a random element involved but it is not true RNG.
Agree. IT Is not about rng, Is about codeing. . If you want triple hit strenght And you geting 80% to life ,IT Is imposible to get triple hit strenght. A lot of players knows this already . Thats why they need to change this crafting . They can add options to make random like Now ,or another options for huge materials to triple hit or double hit.
I hope you’re aware that this is bad you know, it’s not something to “praise” or point out as a “softener”
Better have certain upgrades require 5000 random mats than be required to re-roll 5 times to get it partially right
Disagree. Not because there’s not an excess of RNG in other games but there you have a better type (RNG of outcome as opposed to RNG of numbers)
Also MW is by far the worst RNG system in every a/RPG game precisely because you RNG a well-crafted piece of gear, i.e. in other words it’s not a “gamble” in a starting phase but rather a finishing one
