So, it seems that masterworking and enchanting and even itemization is weighted in such a way as to make the player play longer to get what they really want. This is a huge turn off for me and makes the game far less enjoyable. I, for one, will not be buying the expansion because of this. Peace out Diablows
Please explain, not sure what you mean.
The only person that can make you play longer is yourself. If you lack the will power to log off that’s entirely on you.
That being said someone did a test run with 3000 tempers and the results showed no weight.
willpower definitely not lacking. Currently logged off with no plans on returning.
lol you guys must have missed that.
I have only seen one neck with Envenom and it rolled low. Druid is at level 100 and has cleared all uber bosses and tier 8 hordes. ONLY 1 neck. out of soooo many necks. For example.
Weighting or no, RNG is still RNG and wieghting has been a staple of RPGs for decades.
Thanks for weighing in, Captain Obvious.
no, thank you for thanking me. Happy to contribute.
I just don’t know what people were expecting? RPGs have weighted RNG to indicate rarity in things, to keep you chasing for that extra rare thing.
Like, aside from video games, do people not realize this is something that happens elsewhere? Trading Card Games, for example.
Staple or not. I dont find it enjoyable. pseudo depth of gameplay through longer loot grinds doesnt make for a better game experience in my opinion. I’m not trying to convince anyone, just expressing my thoughts to Blizzard if they choose to read it.
Sounds like RPGs are not for you, then.
And intelligent conversation about facets of the game are not for you.
They definitely are when one wants to engage in one.
bye, see you in the expansion.
