prices are so inflated now by people that swipe mastercard/visa and the only way to compere with them is to sell items to the people that rmt. its getting out of hand. items selling for 6-7b on average on the daily. legit players like my self have to farm helltide for a 100 hours to make 1/2 that to have the item brick right away with tempering
i thought the games dead, how can prices be inflated if no one plays
whoever said its dead is trolling lol
apparently 95% of this forum are trolling then. i always knew it
Just find/trade an item. I agree that RMT is a plauge but thats what happens to all games with trade.
Blizzard does massive ban waves at the same time because its the most “disruptive” to the gold farming industry.
Youll know when it happens cause youll see fourm posts of “I got ban for no reason”
Tho the tempering system does help detur some RMT which is why we see alot of fourm posts . They however wont admit they spent $200 for an item that didnt roll well.
Would you not then be able to sell items you found according to the market average to then start playing in line with the RMT inflation? As long as you’re not the one swiping the credit card, you’re just using the trade system to acquire funds that you could then engage in the trading market at the rate you’re competing against.
TL;DR; the items you find are as valuable as the market deems them to be, the gold is just the medium they’re traded upon.
Just make all items, all mats, gold etc. Bind on Account.
Simple, effective solution that would instantly make the game better.
i really don’t think that RMT has a lot of influence on inflation.
It’s just that even 2GA items with perfect rolls that rly matters(such as CDR or + skills or crit chance) are really rare.
How (and why) are you “comparing” or “competing” against other players?
And the gold sinks in the game are too weak.
But noo, let’s nerf them, as usual
tempering actually helps rmt because the whales will rebuy the same item 5 times while the rest of us are like um what
Id argue its a much smaller pool willing to spend $200-$1000 per item slot. Regular players wont likely gamble real money with a chance to fail.
Let them spend there money and on the fourms when something gets bricked.
i would have to disagree. whales make up most the real money spending in games with additive traits. look at diablo immortal and other games like it
Didn’t this game sell 10+ million. I really doubt even half of that are playing anymore. Heck I’d even bet 75% of that are done. I even know people thar dropped it before season 1 started because of that huge nerf patch. You’re really only getting the most dedicated Diablo players coming back every season at this point. We don’t know the numbers but i imagine it’s probably between 100k and 200k which isn’t bad but comparing it to over 10 million, it’s kinda bad. If they can do good things with the expansion and not have it overly priced (which i imagine it will be) and not have it a buggy mess, if they can get maybe 3 million out of the 10+ million players back I’d consider that a win.
visit any phase of the game and see character cap on your phase. check trade sites and discords and see 1000s of posts. … if you think the game only has 100k I got a bridge to sell to you
Well we can agree to disagree. Should tempering limits be removed RMT will go up exponentially.
maybe but if if the remove temper limits with a item like say a spark it wouldnt be done all the time. you need a uber item to try again
pretty realistic numbers and that also cuz this game was false advertized from the beginning. I wish that game devs at blizzard was as good as their marketing department.
Of course you’ll see trade sites with rmt’s and whatnot. Even eBay has stuff going on with it. But how many people are actually purchasing? Thats the thing we dont know the exact number.
Oh I do agree however then the will start about how its “to expensive”. They should honestly just leave it be.
