Oh crap. I didnt even know it was that rare until recently. I found it last week and just stashed it away without a 2nd thought. Now going to anxiously go back home after work and look for it
The tooltip is wonky. How long does the buff last for after you gain 8-12% reduction in Fury Cost for subsequent Core Skills? Assuming you roll it with the lowest value of 8%, that is 5 Core Skills before you receive the full 40% reduction. With the highest value, a weird 12%, that is 4 Core Skills (should be 8-15%). With the monster density being what it is, if the buff falls off, it will be pretty hard making use of this for most builds.
I was curious as to how long it last as well. I have a feeling it last until you use another skill.
Use WW to test if cost reduction is good?

I got it and salvaged it because I thought eeeeeh doesnt look good and wasnt for my build. Plus my stash is full of max roll legendaries…

Yeah I’m not 100% sure how it works hopefully it does have timer but the way it says Consecutive cast makes me think if you break the chain of cast it resets. could be good for necro or maybe sorc? Necro could pop corpse tendril, bone storm then spam bone spear but generally you’re not having essense issues with high end gear on necro.
Sorc might not be bad for ice shard spamming or something. but yeah the way the ring reads it seems kind of bad…

Its either got an internal tracker, a timer, or if you use any other non core skill it breaks the chain, so if it’s the last one theoretically you could keep the 40% reduction going for a while.
I can’t see it working with WW though, Ghors trigger when you stop your initial cast of WW so you are casting it once and keeping it running till you release or run oom.
What is curious is how the reduction works along side mothers refund.
Are they based on your unmodified fury cost?
Do fury generation increasers apply?
Do fury cost reductions apply?
Are they a combined value or are they applied separately ie 100 fury reduced by 40%, then 60% reduced by 40% (from gear) 32 cost, or is it 40%+40% for a fury cost of 20?
is the % refunded from Mothers just a flat value based on your initial cost? 40 fury refunded or the value after reductions? 12.8 fury or 8 fury
Does mothers refunded % go up with fury gen %?
40 fury +16 fury
12.8 fury + 5.12 fury
8 fury + 3.2 fury
