Reworked Dire Whirlwind aspect is practically unusable

The aspect of Dire Whirlwind has been reworked to give critical strike damage in addition to critical strike chance with the last patch.
In theory that sounds pretty nice, but practically its unusable, because every single cast of Wrath of the Berserker or Rupture etc. will reset the bonus, letting you start over. In addition the crit chance only applies to WW itself, so you still have to stack it on other items, if you want to use anything else but pure WW.

To fix this issue the aspect needs a timer. Something like:
“Channeling Whirlwind will give you 10% critical strike change and damage each second. The bonus will remain for 1.5s after you stop channeling”

The main issue is that Wrath of the Beserker needs to function like a shout and certain skills need to be given the ability to be seamlessly cast while channeling. Perhaps Rupture should be one of them. Steel Grasp is another one. It would certainly make the gameplay more interesting and seamless.

When popping cota or wotb gets the flow disrupted

they could fix it similar to the earthquake aspect:
“While standing in Earthquakes and for 4 seconds afterwards, you deal …”.

Or they could generally introduce a timer that keeps the “channeling” state active for 1s after it end, but this could have some unforeseen interactions and potentially introduce a lot of bugs (at least thats what I’d expect from the D4 team o_O)
