As a competitive player who loves to PvP, this is soooo BS. Anyone who took advantage of Blizzards horrible mistake now has a HUGE advantage over the rest of us. They now have IT and we can’t get it because ya’ll decided to DISABLE it which is of course the right thing to do. HOWEVER, the true right thing to do here is to remove it from anyone who has received it due to this dumb mistake.

I agree with you but you know they won’t do it. They probably won’t even mention it again. They are damned if they do and damned if they don’t. Basically when the seasons start those items are essentially deleted anyways as most of the player base will play seasons going forward and the eternal realm will be dead.

They will not take this item from player… why?? Becaus they put this patch with this option and ppl don’t use any exploit or somthing, just mistake devs. Sooo who get Shako will not lose them… not first time somthing like this happen and they never revert patch. Like always they just BLOCK option for drop and that all. They will fix, no shako drop but who got will not lose… they always work that in diablo.
If they don’t revert… I’ll be clicking that uninstall button.

I don’t give a damn about leaderboards and leagues. Yeah, It’d be nice… but that’s not the issue. The issue is, PvP will NO longer be enjoyable. You obviously don’t give a crap so why even comment? You’re probably level 50 or just trash at PvP so you don’t care.
I don’t understand what you’re showing me here. I’m a level 100 rogue and beat barbs all the time but there is few times I die to them. Imagine now with a Shako how much harder they will hit? How much stronger they will be overall. It’s just stupid… and that’s just talking about Barbs… we don’t know if other classes were able to reap these benefits as well including rogues.

So true, majority do not care about Eternal realm; D2R, D3, and D4. And, you shouldn’t.
You shouldn’t care because the game and content is designed around seasons and playing a seasonal character.
Once seasons roll out and the majority of players move over to seasons, most won’t care. When seasons hit, the Eternal realm is basically your “single player” mode.
I did not get Shako, nor did I even try to as I didn’t do helltide. I even had my suspicions that this would result in some bug causing unintended high drop rates. Instead, I was running NM dungeons with friends having a great time. We are all prior diablo players and none of us care about this.
People need to stop freaking out about not getting an item in a video game, which you can’t even trade. Be happy for the ones that did get it and then realize that once season starts it no longer matters.

I have 2 level 100’s and PVP a fair bit taking people’s ears, thank you very much. PVP is already unbalanced with broken builds and level differences. The majority of people that enter the PVP zones won’t have a shako. You’re making it sound like every single person that now enters the PVP zones is going to have a shako and immediately be a PVP god. You are wrong.

For some ppl (not for me, don’t care) this will be a isssue becaus even Season don’t give them chance for item when other get this becaus devs put somthing with bug/exploit. I neve care who drop what, how and when becaus this is only video game BUT don’t like if someone got somthing with bug/exploit or somthing and this give him HUGE advantage. But with shako don’t care… this just show HOW Blizzard don’t care too much what they give to users. I know, sometime even best developmnet got some mistake BUT mostly time they repair this by rollback or even “take” item from palyer… Blizzard don’t care. They just block drop or reduce dencity of mobs.
Yeah, this is pretty game breaking to any pvper. Talk about an antimotivational thing to just leave in and ignore.
