How is anyone getting any heads at all to start crafting these stupid gems? I donāt even have any and I am over PL 180.
id sign that, except for the balance, as i dont really care about balance in arpgs.
you get them from the new event zone, by pulling roots. some of them end up becoming a cocoon, which spawns a husk. these have a by now fairly high chance to drop a head.
if you focused on a specific content, it might be no surprise you didnt see any heads yet. Also use the draught of whispers potion there.

I have two characters at almost level 15 on their season rep grind. I have found zero heads. I have done a lot of whisper turn ins.
I fully attribute mine to luck. I focus green areas though. I did some Pits, stopped at 85. I have not used the potions.
Hit Green areas with players and chase the rare spawns that popup on the map. If there arenāt any, do Favors to promote more rare spawns.
Itās been 3 days? Way too long to not be bis with the maxed powers lol.

you were in the green helltides tho, right?
eventually you were uber unlucky, but with todays hotfix they also increased the drop chance. I was rather unlucky before myself and only had one. since the hotfix im sitting on 4.
They just did a hotfix couple hours ago that gives more rot/elite and it is a noticeable difference.
Yes. I was in the green hell tides a lot. I leveled in there pretty much exclusively.

my bad, the heads arent affected.
Today, just now. I played earlier this morning, no change.
After talking with people, I fully expect to be done in less than 30 hours played by the end of this weekend.
They changed it just now? I only see hotfix 3 and it doesnāt mention the head drops. It mentions the other materials.
I will keep an eye on this.
I have played more than 30 hours already. I enjoy D4 but this season has felt extremely lackluster to me.
I finally got all my powers and donāt feel anything. I want to craft gems but canāt find any heads. Iām not asking to craft everything now but some would be nice, heck even just one.

I bet the heads are tied to Rot drop rate. Low Rot = Low Heads, High Rot = High Heads.

yea, it was my bad. the heads arent mentioned.
i assumed it tho as i only had 1 before, and in the last couple hours i got 4.
