I have played since day 1, and now, when I try to click on play, I get “you can’t play Diablo IV yet.” it shows in my account page as Diablo® IV|Active, yet after playing today and then restarting my system, I can no longer play.

do you have a pending update? steam/bnet/windows?
No, I scanned and verified all files. I was just playing 20 minutes before this happened.
Im having the same issue. Tried closing battlenet in task manager, restarting my computer, checking for updates… Nothings working.
I am getting the same error. Frustrating - I was playing, and the game crapped out. (I think my PC is doing it.) After reloading BattleNet, I get the error “You can’t play Diablo IV yet”. First time I’m seeing this error since playing the game.
I tried this on my laptop, thinking it was isolated to my PC, but I get the same error. It appears to be account related/bound.
same here it seems like i thinks i dont own it as it gives me options to buy it with discounts but then says in library…
Same issue. Was playing fine yesterday. Got home from work today and can’t play.
I have the same issue witb battle net. Was fine earlier today (about 6 hours ago). I think there was an update (?) which seems to have caused this.
I have tried scanning the game files - still same.
I also followed some recommendation on a blizzard forum to uninstall battle net - system restart - re-install battle net - locate game. After these steps it asks to update the game and then its back to square one.

Same here. Played earlier, went to do yard work, came back in and it says it can’t be played yet.
same im in Aus. so guessing its random.
all my history on account says i have vessel have done everything mention except uninstall game. can we get a response? Just to acknowledge would be appreciated.
Has everyone verfied that BNet doesn’t need an update?

Same here, I was playing with no problem 6 hours ago also tried bunch of things that recommended but none of them seems to be working.
I managed to fix it. I logged out of Battle.net, and on the screen where you enter your credentials and password, there’s a gear icon. I clicked on it and changed the server from Americas to Europe, then logged in, and the button started working again.
