Just Curious, in S4 we were given 3 ways to acquire the sparks. Moving forward to s5 which starts tomorrow, is the Season Journey the only way for us to get the sparks without having to farm them with the torment bosses?
as far as i can tell you should still get one spark from your first tormented boss, 1 from the seasonal questline, 1 from uber lilith. (last season you got the spark from uber lilith if you killed her in any season before, due to a bug, i assume youll have to kill her in s5 for the spark)
so i have half afk 20 sparks farmed in s4 
You can get 1 per seasonal character for the seasonal reputation (5 characters = 5 sparks) like in season 4. 1 from first tormented boss for hardcore and non hardcore (2 sparks). 1 from uber lilith (1 spark).
So pretty easy to get 3 sparks by getting help with lilith and tormented boss on a single character.
Straight forward to get 7 sparks from creating different characters getting the same help.
Im not a hardcore player, but i do play multiple characters so ill be aiming for 7 sparks.
Of course getting an uber you dont want can be grant you 1 spark if salvaged…but ive never salvaged an uber out of fear that i may, one day, want that uber
You will get 1 spark for each character when finish someting.
Thank god, they keep this. For people like it is only chance to get ubers.

I like it in S4. HT S4 was top content for me in D4 yet.
I assume sparks now will come from that new content? Hope it will be fun too.

Yeah I like doing helltide for 10 hours because it was brainless. From the campfire chat, the developers said other activities will gain rep. My guess is certain activities will give out more rep than others. Chain running Nightmare dungeons might be a thing here.
1 Tormented boss + 3 chars reputation for the first mythic unique.
(I don’t count uber lilith at all since she is absolutely impossible for me)

I’m taking about 50, maybe 60 ubers into eternal. 1 was from sparks, the rest were drops. I’m not too worried about sparks. Ubers, sorry, ‘Mythicals’ already drop like candy and the drop rate is buffed in s5.

I think I played about 100 hours in S4. That’s about 8hr/week. Just over an hour a day. I’d say that’s pretty casual.
I ended with 32 Sparks.
So I disagree with your statement. Those spending 10 hours filling out rep for a single Spark could have spent their time gaining more from drops. Sparks via Rep has always been a time trap; so why would they end it?!?

I did about 100± UU runs in S4. I got 0 ubers.
Friend who was running same ammount of runs got around 10+ other one same also.
Presently, nobody knows how it will work.
The usual and specific ex-spurts are just conjecturizationing as per usual.

Yep I belive someoe can get lucky and have many UU… But 20 UU over 60 hours? Yeah I also don´t belive that
But if you are at forum for a while. You know people like Lazy, Nyruel etc… They never failed a sigle temper, droping UU at lvl 12 etc

Just farm the Stygian stone and goto discord ask others to carry you in Tormented boss or join their Rota. In S5 all Tormented boss has 7.5% Mystique drop chance and also it has chance to drops GA version of their Unique.
It is less boring compare to spam the season quest which make you walk around to do those class specific priority quest or leeching XP in helltide with your under level character over and over.

when you have a clan it isnt difficult to get tons of ubers. just run tormented bosses with clan mates. i have seen people get 2 ubers from a single tormented duriel.
