I currently only play on eternal realm. I have a load of duriel mats to use. Am I safe to use these? So basically my plan is to farm duriel, hopefully get Ubers, salvage them into resplendent sparks so when season 4 starts I can then trade in my resplendent sparks for a Uber unique under the new itemization on day one. As far as I know, they aren’t changing the way we can salvage uniques for resplendent sparks and so it should work as I explained just then? Unless so done has heard different.
Correct, no changes have been made to resplendent sparks at all, feel free to save them for when the S4 patch hits and good luck with your crafting.

That was also my plan.
Still had some uu from S2 on eternal.
But you should still keep some mats to farm some UU after patch. And craft the missing ones after that.

Why would you do any Duriel run right now ? I would just farm the mats and then do the Duriel runs later , After the patch, you can have a chance of dropping uber uniques with Greater affixes … Imagine if it drop a Shako with 4 greater affix , at least you dont have to sacrifice 4 UU now for 4 sparks to craft later …
Save your mats , and just do the Duriel run and or Andariel run after the patch …
This unless you really need a legacy Shako to be used right now
I am holding on (and gathering more) mats now on Eternal to save for after May 14th. Items are going to change. Greater affixes will be a thing. Boss drops will change. A new boss will arrive. Ubers are going to be more widely available. Rares will be almost worthless but Legendary and Uniques should be better.
All that means, IMO, mats will bring better returns after the big changes come to the core game. So I am saving all the summoning mats that I have on Eternal (which is not really a lot) for future use.
