As a Druid, I am curious why some classes get Resource Regeneration and some don’t even though we all have Base Attacks that generate Resources. I am just curious what the reasoning is or will it be clear to Druids once we can get our Specialization?
Not really a complaint, but as a Tornado Druid I could use the Regen when running for my life. As a Bear, it would be nice but not as necessary.

I suspect its because they copypasted the spirit resource from the Diablo3 Monk, whom didnt have innate regeneration either.
But the monk did a lot better with it because they hit rapidly with their builder to fill up the orb fast. Druids are slow in comparision.
Yet Sorcerer Mana shows they can change the resources between games. The sorcerer mana is regenerating baseline as fast as the wizard energy in D3. Whereas the Witch Doctor had much slower regenerating mana.
So there is a lack of consistency.
Becouse druid its a shi t class.
Lower resource, lower regeneration due to the best resource generator be slow melee.
Lowest damage by around 4 - 5 times. Pulverize gets outdps by arc lash.
And no… the specialization wont change a thing. Becouse its generic sh it like 5 % crit or 10% aspd, and a bunch of lucky hits for the class with the least luck hit potential in the game.
The specialization its so bad so bad its like have another slot with a level 10 weapon affixes.

I play druid all the time with lightning storm and i don’t find the spirit anoying with wind shear in a pack of monster in 2 cast im full spirit and we don’t even have access to Mighty Earth Key passives.
I prefer 100% druid ressources over sorcerer where you have to be dependent on CD skill uptime to regen more mana because basic skill do nothing to help regen mana its such a pain to play sorcerer.
The only problem with spirit is for other core skill (other than lightning storm with 15 spirit) as they cost too much spirit and hope they reduce the spirit cost

I love druid. werewolf only druid. Spirit generation is good. it feels great with increases to attack speed. 3 claws i can go into 3 shreds. throw in some cooldowns. it feels great
Same ressource as Barb, better regen then Barb, better ressource regen with basic skills then Barb, damage equal to Barb. Druid got a hell of a lot better this we and people who are unable to pull numbers with it or have a good time did something worng. Druid is most likely the third powerfull class we had in this up to level 20 spectrum.

Necro uses Essence, which by all accounts, should require striking/being struck by a living creature(much like Rage) since Necro is about life/death balance, I am basing this OPINION off of the concept of Essence of Life/Death.
Druid uses Spirit, which as a nature based creature, it gets from…well, nature, and therefore SHOULD regen automatically much like Mana or Energy.
But we all are aware of the hard-on the devs have for the Necro, so…
