I just wanted to share this as it helped me with the games performance.
My game runs worse over time and a few days ago I got the idea to reset the games nvidia profile to default settings.
It helped, the game runs better and it takes longer before it gets worse.
Then today it was back to its usual poor performance, stuttering, freezing, frame skipping, and I realized I had updated my drivers.
I reset the games profile to default again and its back to running better.
I do this by using the nvidia profile inspector off of github.
Finding Diablo 4 in the list of games in the dropdown menu at the top.
I refresh the profile with the little circling arrows next to the dropdown box.
Then store the profile to default with the nvidia icon button next to it and apply changes.
Yeah, nvidia has an auto profile option when Experience is installed.
I never use the Experience app, don’t need it really.
But it can make a profile just for each game and set settings that nvidia recommends. So if you want to make changes, you have to do it to that profile, the global changes won’t affect it.
But you can either disable or remove the profile too or set it up how you want.
I don’t know if it’s the same. I’ve never used Experience. I don’t have it installed
The profile inspector can edit the profiles that comes with the driver, which I’ve found to be whack once in a while with new games.
