Stop letting game developers normalize low budget game hooks. If the argument is “it’s always been this way” then you’ve accepted that you don’t deserve more from a Season.
Meanwhile, other games have sustainable Seasonal content drops that resemble mini expansions every 3 months.

Have you never play D2, D3, PoE, or any Rogue like games? Its a game style, D4 does have issues but season resets as an option for you is not one of them. Lets focus on the actual issues like level/item scale, content other than dungeons and Lilith, QoL features, etc…

Seasonal content and battlepasses are money makers. Skin’s, body paint, jpgs, stash space, xp boosts are cheap to develop, test and maintain.
Seasons became defacto only because of community acceptance. D3 released in 2012. Seasons didn’t arrive until 5 years later. ARPGs existed well before this concept.
Better live service content means one less yacht for BK. Unacceptable.
There is nothing too complex or restrictive about an isometric action game that prevents it from having more robust Seasons enjoyed by games of different genres. If you’re limiting your options you’re playing their game, not benefiting the consumer.

I am all for a Reset server and Eternals getting full access to Seasons. Considering Season 1 won’t have a ladder, more the merrier.

They have a seasonal server with all the seasonal events/content and a dead “eternal” server with no seasonal content.
I’m saying, give people what they want, two seasonal servers, one that they can play all their characters on if they want, and a reset server, I’m always playing reset though, resetting is a major fun part of seasons.

If Blizz in 2023 has shown anything it’s that they’re metric driven. If Resets cause an exodus, then strategic management will want to know why.
I’m ahead of the curve on this and profusely believe Seasonal resets are antiquated for a game catering to a larger audience.

To be honest Seasons is what Diablo 3 so fun. The sped up leveling, paragon points, annointed gear for alts. It was fun. If Diablo 4 is taking a more PoE approach, then it’s a big mistake. Never could get through the campaign in PoE.
You’d be surprised how often things are overlooked or kept in place because of tradition.
If seasonal resets killed either other game or any game out there they wouldn’t be doing them, pure and simple
Console sales kept D3 going, not Seasons.
That’s why D4 is so console centric.
