Here’s my rig
Windows 10 Pro, 8GB ram, Intel Core i5-4570 CPU @ 3.20GHz, MSI Radeon HD 7950 / R7950 Twin Frozr 3GD5 3GB.
I played the closed demo. I certainly had issues and I did not have enough time to properly diagnose them. My game screen would freeze then either I’d get booted out or it would catch up in stages. The frozen time would be in minutes. From first onset until playing again could take ten minutes or more. Once I realized the issue I refused to do anything that might make a screen change so all I did was go round and round the map, combating wherever possible. My game mates would tp to town, or use the waypoint. I’d run because the amount of time it would take to run would be less than if my game froze.
We just bought a AMD Radeon RX 6600 low profile for a different computer. After the closed beta was, well, closed, I tested my pc with passmark 11, swapped in the Rx 6600, and ran the passmark again. The ratings were not that much different.
7950 2d graphics 760.4, 3d graphics 5718.9, overall 2324.9
6600 2d graphics 689.3, 3d graphics 6510.7, overall 2265.2
The 6600 had worse 3d and the overall score decreased.
No website that compares gpu’s lists the HD 7950 / R7950 [HD 7950 / R7 950]. All I can find is the HD 7950 / R9 280. My goal is to learn how my card compares to the minimum and recommended requirements.

ideocardbenchmark.net~directCompute has about fifteen hundred cards in that list [going back to at least 2009] but the 7950 / R7 950 isn’t in the list.
Am I calling my 7950 by the wrong name?
It doesn’t make sense that I cannot find it.
PS I know my card is the MSI Radeon HD 7950 / R7950 Twin Frozr 3GD5 3GB because I have a second one sitting next to me, still in it’s original box, bought for another computer that never got built…
