Because the Cooldown has removed fun from the game, The Rogue just isn’t as fun or useful to play as either the Demon Hunter or Amazon were, So please fix this, The Num Lock would also reintroduce fun to the other classes

You have to use the number pad, which means you have to set the number pad 1-4 buttons as the secondary activators on the normal 1-4 skills. Then, with numlock ON, hold down the number pad buttons that you want to auto-cast (don’t let them up yet). Then, with them still down (get it? keep them down!! 
), press numlock once to turn off the numbers on the number pad. ETA: When you want to turn auto-cast off just hit numlock and then hit the keys again to send the key-up sequence. 2nd ETA: After numlock is off you can let up the buttons…
A couple of things to note:
They will not auto-cast while you are holding another button down, either mouse or keyboard. So bind your force-move to your mouse wheel so you can scroll up and down to force move.
For some people, it only works on sequential numbers, like mine I can't use 2 and 4 without 3. I don't know if this is the same for everyone, it may be my keyboard. And I can't use 1 for some reason. YMMV...
ETA: If you switch windows (alt-tab, etc.) it turns off and you have to do it again.
I loved num-lock on D3. I wish they would implement it on D4 and save my keyboard a bit.
No, in D3 it was allowed in game to press number lock and any #key and it would refresh that skill when the cool down runout.

For some reason I thought you could still do the numlock trick in D4, just had to reassign a few keys.

numlock worked at least up to a couple of seasons ago.
People can still use numlock through windows with an extended keyboard, so I don’t know why anyone would need an indepdent 3rd party program which could ban you.

I’ve tried to do it in D4, but doesn’t seem to work.

It does work in D4 exactly how it did in D3 with the same limitations: skills won’t auto-fire if you hold down any key so if you’re channeling (Incinerate for example) or holding left click to move they won’t auto-cast until you stop pressing the button.
And alt-tabbing stops it, just like it did in D3, and you have to go through the numlock activation again to get it going.
You can even turn off the error audio so you don’t hear “I can’t do that” from your character over and over.

- Do a secondary bind of 1-4 to num pad 1-4
- Make sure the num lock light is on
- Hold down whichever of 1-4 you want to cast on CD on the num pad, all 4 of them if you want.
- Press numlock while still holding down the num pad key(s)
That’s all there is to it and yes, it definitely works in D4.

it worked up till the end of last season. i dont know if something change or not, but i used it on my arclash sorc last season

It still works, just remember that you can’t hold down your movement button all the time because it will keep them from going off.
I’ve used this season with Lightning Spear and Ice blades, and it works just fine.
I don’t use for the shields because I want manual control for those since I’m not running the perma flame shield cheese.
Shrug, numlock I don’t anyone’s been banned for in D3 or D4, I’m sure it’s “use at your own risk”.
My thought is risk is extremely low to nil - if you don’t use a program.
