Can you buy and leave review then refund without plying ?
will the review gone after refund?

id love to see them do what starfield did and make you have to have 20hrs gameplay before you can leave review. then leave refund policy at 2hrs. oh the trolls would cry :joy:

I feel nothing. I have no need to buy it again, and there is really no reason to do so. If you want to, that’s on you.

This is great advice, but there is nothing deceptive going on.

Is this really what qualifies as a nightmare for you? Having a blizzard launcher to play d4 instead of a steam launcher… Did this horrific situation cause you great distress before they announced the steam version or were you playing it from bnet just fine?

nothing wrong with buying the game again on steam, guys.

So long as you make sure to review it the deserved 0/10 and get a refund right after.
can’t have blizzard scamming any more uninformed former customers

yea a real nightmare is spending $70 on this 2/10 garbage audacity and not being eligible for a refund

Dont even need to. You can still launch it through steam. I launch ffxiv (not on steam) through steam. So i can remote play it on my phone. You just have to tell the launcher where the directory is.

People who are complaining about this are trolls. Thats it. They found something to hate blizz about and they are going ham about it for no reason.

Nobody has a problem if theres a game on Epic and steam that requires you to buy a license for both if you want to play on each platform.

Nobody has a problem if theres a game on microsoft and GoG that requires you to buy a license for both if you want to play on each platform.

etc etc etc. (and just because those services are all on PC, doesn’t mean they are the same “platform”.)

This is not new. This has never been a problem. Why are d4 players going absolutely crazy about it??? Simple, because they just want something to hate blizz about.

You people need to stop drooling on yourselves and wake up.

I bought the game 1 time months ago from Diablo’s web site.

I added a non steam game to steam and from steam the game starts and rund fine.
On my friends list it says im playing diablo 4.

I repeat, i only bought the game ONE time but can load it, play it on Steam.

Thank you. I don’t see anyone complaining about ANY of those other examples you cited. This is not anything new. The posters I see making an issue of this are the same ones that have been littering these forums for the past few months. They haven’t touched the game forever, so it doesnt matter what launcher is used. They’re just angry that they can’t review bomb the game on steam. That’s all this is about.

I seriously doubt the mental health of some of the thread makers here on D4 forums, something is definitely off, the ignorance and stupidity is almost unmatched.

I wouldn’t add D4 to my Steam library even if it were free if you had it on BNet.

Personally, I feel I deserve all of this just for buying it once.

Hey guys, this is a new move to steam. This isn’t a concurrent offering. So I think the ask is valid.

However, it is still possible you need to launch the game from the BNET launcher. We don’t know how they are implementing this.

The steam deck version may be totally unique, which probably warrants a repurchase like a new console offering.

I don’t consider steam access a new “console” or different than bnet’s versions since it’s all plays on PC.

Blizzard can if they wanted provide and pay for the cost for the very FEW people that really want this switch, but if you still need to use the bnet app, the switch isn’t needed.

If steam can launch standalone without the bnet app, then I think the request is valid.

I think going forward after steam has the game available, purchases make sense to be locked between the two access points, bnet / steam, but a 1 time transfer seems like a reasonable ask for some people.

Can Blizzard do it?
Yes

Will blizzard do it?
Unlikely

Should blizzard do it?
This is the debate. The issue for me is if the emails are the same between BNET and Steam, and you can only really have 1 pc account active. Unless of course they give steam’s game a unique IQ for bnet accounts and you can have both active at the same time.

Transfer fee to cover administrative costs would be a good compromise. Free would be consumer friendly practice of course.

Having this game available on steam is incredible because it will clearly show how many people do not play it.

Nope. I used to play Destiny 2 on battle.net then Bungie parted ways with Activision. My license was migrated to Steam for free via Bnet ↔ Bungie app ↔ Steam.
